Right now there is a poll up at superherohype.com on who fans think Joss should cast as Wonder Woman. Morena is one of the actresses listed and I personally would love to see her in it. I know this poll has no overall power in the final decision, but it is some good publicity for one of our BDH's. The link again is:

I was thinking how perfect she would be for it! Joss likes his actors, so hopefully this will happen!
I think it's too bad that Joss doesn't have anything to do with X-men. I was so sad when I read that Summer might be playing Shadowcat and then found out she was passed up for it.

She's too short. WW should be tall, at least 6'. True, Lynda Carter was only 5'9 and Morena is 5'7.....but someone taller would really fit the bill in this case....still love Morena to death

Cordelia is leading the pack...I just can't see Charisma as Wonder Woman.

I think Morena would be great despite her height. Joss could work the camera angles to cancel out the height issues, look at what Hollywood does with Tom Cruise. No, really...I never realized how short the guy was till I read about it somewhere.

Exactly, a lot of actresses on this list don't really fit the part. I don't even recognize all of them. What gets me is that "another actress" is beating most of them. That is sad, but I have seen Morena move up a bit just in the past half hour. More power to her (and us for that matter).

It's always better to go with an unknown than someone known who may possibly ruin the movie. Morena is still pretty much an unknown to this point. Meh, I actually never thought of her in the role, but I won't hate it if she does get it

I'm just glad Jennifer Lopez isn't on the list. There are people pulling for her to play WW; can you believe it? Ick! And Sandra Bullock is the choice of a few, too. I can almost see that, actually.
I agree that Morena looks like the comic book WW, which is why I think she'd be perfect. She's got the right face shape and the right build (other than her height), plus the dark hair. Cameras can make anyone look tall. I know she's supposed to be an Amazon (which makes me think of Gina more than anyone. That would be cooler than cool to me, but most comic book fans do not like having the race of their hero changed) but yeah; camera tricks. And probably big shoes.

Seems from my Google searches, Charisma Carpenter is sexed-up most of the time. That must be why most people seem to think she should play Wonder Woman. Certainly can't see much else in terms of reason. She doesn't look like Wonder Woman to me. Kate Beckinsale does a little, but I still think Morena is the best pick. In terms of looking like the original comic book character, anyway.
I was always a big fan of the female supers; I take this kind of thing to heart.

I don't think any of those actresses are right for the part even though they're all gorgeous. I'm for Lucy Lawless. Always have been. She's tall and she could fill out the costume better. I want a strong woman to play WW, not a woman who's arms you could snap like twigs. I'm going to have to see a costume first to judge whether or not I'll see the movie. If the costume sucks it ruins the film for me. I'll vote when I see a costume.

Lucy Lawless isn't a bad choice, actually. Haven't seen much of her lately. She certainly proved she could wear a metal breast plate, though, didn't she? Although, that might work against her. She either wouldn't want to be type cast like that or people would say "But Xena can't be Wonder Woman!" because they're idiots.
I like this idea. Can't believe it didn't occur to me. She'd be great!
