Hello browncoats :smile:

After a viewing of "Our Mrs Renyolds" last night it kinda hit me again. This show has such incredible dialog. I decided to put down some of the best lines. If you think there are some I missed feel free to add to the list. Or if you would like to add your list of one of the other eps, well that would be great too.

Remember the beginning post here is only from OMR. So any great lines from any other eps or the BDM are not represented in this one.

lines by Mal: 1) You don't stand for that sort of thing.Someone tries to kill you, you try to kill them right back.

2)Good bible.

3)Is there blubber?

4)Ohhh..,I'm going to go to the special hell.

5) Well isn't that something. I knew you let her kiss you.

lines by Jayne: 1) All I got was that dumb ass stick sounds like its rainin.

2)Thats why I don't kiss em on the mouth.

lines by Book: 1) Your going to burn in a special level of hell. A place reserved for child molesters and ppl that talk at the theater.

2) Special hell!

Wash lines: 1) Isn't that QUAINT.

2) QUAINT!

lines by Inara: 1) I wish you hundereds of fat children.

2) I guess we've lied enough.

3) I only fell is all!

not listed are saffrins lines which in total are 80% recordable as really fun lines. Just ain't got enough room here.Kaylee has some good ones and Zoe too. River and simon are almost nonexistent in this eps.

To top off my list of great,fun or lines that make me smile or just plain laugh is one by my wife. " Men are so damn easy."

Whedon and Minear are such fantastic writers, deep, rich dialog with so much to sink your teeth into. Why can't others pay attention and write this good a dialog?

The best written episode isn't actually written by Whedon, it's written by some guy who didn't write another episode at all.

Im talking of "Safe" of course.

Just the whole cows-sky/river-sky bit is genius.

Hiya guys and ladies,

Freebrowncoat,Yep like I said saffrin had some really good lines. Fact, so many of her's were good I just couldn't get them all.

Ravenhair, Washs "Some ppl juggle geese." is really cool. I also liked "Good Myth." from him and from Zoey " My man would never fall for that (insert chinese here)."

RMMC, when I decided watch the OMR and post this thread about the eps cool and cleaver lines the opening scene almost had me stop in my tracks. Heck all the dialog coming fron our BDH and the township thieves just about had me thinking that I would have to include all the dialog from the whole gorram eps. Jayne " Ya see I married me a powerful ugly creature."---" If I could make you prettier I would." :biggrin:

Keyoke, SAFE is a very good eps too and where we get one of the most quoted lines, Mal" What does that make us?" Zoey " Big Damn Heroes sir!"

Oh that's great! It was quite the delivery, I must say. Cracked me up, too. Can't think of any "best" lines right now because they're all so good.
