I am sure everyone already saw this on youtube but I just thought for all the newbies and for the hardcore vets, there is hope and the man has not put serenifly away for good.

MONKSDAD, thanks for this. Its good to get things strait from the horses mouth so to speak.
Joss certainly seems to be still quite interested in FF/Serenity.The ball isn't in his corner but hes still ready to play.

After being asked 1000 times about FF/S it would be a little old. I commend the interviewer for the way he presented his questions and for the as strait as can be answers from Joss.

A little trickle of sunlight

Thank you, Monksdad, I hadn't seen that particular interview. Nice to hear our beloved Joss say he'd do it tv or however.

Joss is busy, some of the actors are busy, (congrats to Adam! )and we just had the movie we wanted last year and DVD sales have to be tallied--- so we wait.

We work hard on the Summer of Serenity, give them some more DVD's to tally and we hold.

I was interested to see that Joss says that Universal did a good job and didn't say anything bad about how they marketed. He is grateful to them for helping get his movie made and IMHO we should be too. Makes our thank you on September 30th all the nicer to me.

This is shiny news.
We just have to make them aware of how many of us there are to return our ship and crew to and it will return to us!

you know what I was thinking would be cool, have a TV series, as a lead in to a movie (yes real original, didnt that just happen lol) . think about it. Lets use star wars as an example, wouldnt it have been cool to have a mini series in beetween the movies... something to bridge the gap, something to set up the movie and then the movie be the resoloution. I think Firefly/serenity is in a position to be unique and do this. with the crew of this show/movie it is entirely possible. we could get our BDM2 and a lead in tv series like a star trek and have the continuity we all like in star wars. keep the story/struggle going.
firefly season 1 - serenity
fireflly season 2 (full season) - serenity 2
firefly season 3 - serenity 3

I think it would just be a cool and unique thing to do this, and i am sure 50 people will show me threads that have already come up with this .

You know someone else may be able to show you those threads, Monksdad, but I can't and I like that idea. I hadn't thought of that and it would be totally unique. And why should our BDH's stop being unique now!? I say I'd vote for that set of possibilities.

Ahhh.... thinking of all those eps and movies to have on my shelf, with all those stories of the 'verse and Mal... *sigh*
