This has probably been done several times before, but I'm going to do it again. What are your favorite movies (other than Serenity) with our BDHs? I was just watching My Bodyguard the other day. I had not seen the movie in several years. It was one of my favorite movies as a kid and I didn't realize until watching it again that my favorite character was played by Adam Baldwin. Have any others seen this movie? It was made in 1980. So, without even realizing it, I've been a fan of Adams for over twenty years. If you have not seen it I recommend that you do. The movie itself may not come off as being all that great, but Adam does a really good job in it.

Simon: What if he(Mal) tells you to kill me?
Zoe: (without hesitation) I kill you.

My personal favorites are Alan Tudyk's films. A Knight's Tale and 28 Days are some of his funniest (Dodgeball was cool too). Dracula 2000 was also shiny (though I consider it an injustice to only give our captain five minutes of screen time). If other TV series count, I always was a big fan of Gina Torres on Hercules. Nebula was one of the coolest characters.

It's just an object. It doesn't mean what you think.

Still kind of freaked out that Alan is the voice of Sonny from I Robot, but getting past it. I just saw an episode of NCIS with Adam and he did a great job, but he was a millitary guy and I just kept expecting a Jayne reaction and didn't get it... Oh and hey Adam is on tonight on SciFi in the Posidon Adventure so watch :)

You're only young once, but you can be immature any time!

OK, it's not a movie, but I always loved the evil preacher Caleb character (Nathan Fillion), in Season 7 of Buffy. He was just too cool!

"I swear by my pretty white collar, I will end you."

Nope, I guess it just doesn't work, does it?

Alan Tudyk is quickly climbing the charts as one of my favorite actors. His characters in both A Knight's Tale and 28 Days were great. Lots of laughs from both. Dodgeball was okay. Alan was good, but I don't think at his best. And yes, how can anyone pass up Gina Torres in the Hercules series.

NCBROWNCOAT

Just watched Water's Edge with Nathan this weekend. The other actors are horrible but Nathan saves this movie.

He plays a writer who moves back to his old hometown with his wife after losing a daugher. He then get mixed up in blackmail and murder, including an evil damsel in distress.

I've also seen him in Saving Private Ryan-great crying scene as the Wrong Ryan, his Outer Limits episdoe and snippets of Two Guys and a Girl besides Slither-the fella is a helleva dramatic actor and natural comic, but we all know that here.

One day.
One plan.
One army of Browncoats.

On June 23rd, we aim to misbehave.

THAT WAS ADAM?

OK, so now I know I'm loosing it. I watched that whole season of Angel without making the association that Jayne and Marcus Hamilton were played by the same actor!

Shiny! Thanks for pointing that out.
