I wasn't sure where else to post this, so here it is.

What are you doing Monday evening, July 3rd? I just found out that we are being let off of work a bit early, so I could head Anniston way and we could have that catfish I said I owe ya.

Let me know and we'll plan further.

So who is he?
He's my husband.
Well who in the damn galaxy ain't!

Sorry it took me so long to find this post...but thank you!
Sounds like a good idea, but you don't actually "owe" me catfish...but it would be great to meet you! So far as I know, I have absolutely nothing going on Monday night after 5:00PM, and I could get to Top o the River about ten minutes after that. I think the wife may even be free, but she's not that big of a fan of catfish...I'll see if I can convince her to go.
If this sounds good, let me know. You can PM me, and I'll give you my phone number.

FMF, you think you can make it up to Anniston on the 3rd? You are "kinda" close.
Penguin, same offer to you, but I am not sure you are all that close...

Alright, then. If it's ok with BSCPantherFan, I would like to invite all interested parties to the Top O the River restaurant in Anniston, AL on Monday, July 3rd at a time yet to be determined.

Sorry, didn't mean to be excludin' anyone.

Of course, anybody who can get there is welcome to show up. I owe Tristan a catfish for forgetting about him in a previous thread, and being the po' Southern Browncoat that I am, I couldn't buy everyone a catfish, but if ya want the best you ever put in your mouth, Top O' the River is the place to get it. One of the locations just happens to be in Tristan's home town, hence the invite.

Everyone is welcome, I think it would be shiny to have an impromptu shindig on the 3rd. PR, Citizen, FMF, FollowMal, and anyone else who wants to. I will post the address and a link to Mapquest when I get to work.

MMMMMMMM- good cats!

So who is he?

By the way, Top O' The River has no idea about this, but they are equipped for a decent size gathering, and they are open from 5-9 Monday night(after that, Tristan will have to be our guide!)

You think you know--what's to come, what you are. You haven't even begun.

If I had the time and money to make that kind of drive, you can bet I would be there! I actually have only had salmon and shellfish as far as I remember; not sure if I would like catfish, but meeting all of you would be shiny!
MSG, I'm a lot closer to you than to almost anyone else. I don't know what kind of exotic, strange, or delicious food is exclusive to our region, but maybe we could come up with something. Assuming I could make any kind of drive for that, either

Catfish is a bony, bottom-dwelling river fish that tastes like mud to me most of the time. However, Top O' the River has their own man-made ponds with grain-fed fish, so the catfish there practically melts in your mouth. If you ever get the chance to be down to this part of flyover country, let us know and we will show you some good eatin'.

Hmmm- Top O' the River. Shouldn't they just call it Summer's head?

MSG. Sorry for the lack of food out that way. No Bar-B-Q? That's just un-American! But have you tried your fruity oatie bars yet? Show us a picture.

You think you know--what's to come, what you are. You haven't even begun.

Northern Colorado. Loveland, to be exact, close to Fort Collins. Not anything like visible from DIA (have fun with that, by the way; I think it's the most complicated airport in the world or something like that; I know it's one of the biggest) but if you can tell where north is (hint: mountains on your left) you can wave.

Yeah, MSG, we should see if we could get together sometime! I'm just getting rolling with the Northern Colorado Browncoats and hopefully we will have many shindigs. I know a few people from Wyoming and such will come down for them, and anyone from surrounding states is welcome if they can make it. Or maybe we could all meet in Vegas and be crazy. That could take a lot of money, though. Oh, we'll figure something out! Hey, maybe I could even catch a ride to Utah with my mom if she ever goes to see that strange friend of hers. I think he lives in Utah.

I've heard how much of a pain the DIA is. Not really looking foreward to any of it, to tell the truth. The largest plane I've ever been up in is a 39-seat Turboprop (I think it was a Lockheed). I don't know that I'm all that comfy with the bigger planes, but we'll see.

MSG, if my flight plans are right, I'll wave at you when I go over Iowa. Unless I look down and see one of those "Insert Utah here" signs like FMF thinks are there.

So who is he?
