I don't know, I thought it was utterly ridiculous, but incredible fun.

plus, they've already made the third, so they kinda needed to leeve it open. *shrug*

omg!

is it really really wierd that i think Jack Davenport (norrington) looks so much better for looking like total shit?

He kept coming on screen and i kept seeing him and doing that tummy flippy thing. I hate jack Davenport, he's a whiny bastard, but wow does he work the 'rugged' look.

which i suppose gives us another imponderable.

Have you ever had a moment where you've just suddenly started seeing someone differently? i.e someone you never really noticed before suddenly become a total crush or something?

I don't really entirely know what happened. I'm so lonely and all I want to be with someone anyone at all. Even that boy who's been telling me he's in love with me for the last seven years. I don't want to be me anymore. I've given up on life now. I'm quitting everything. This isn't life this is controled suicide.

its not that bad copilot. you just need to take a stap back and calm donw. you are doing everything way to quickly. you need to slow the heck down.

do you even know what you want for sure? do you know who you are?

you're not going to make your situation better until you stop and sort your head out.

"I cried like a baby. A hungry, angry baby."

Sorry, couldn't help myself. ;)

I saw the new Pirates movie over the weekend, and enjoyed it, though not as much as the first one. They filmed the second and third movies together (a la Lord of the Rings), so I knew the ending was going to be something like that. Thankfully we won't have much of a wait for the third one, pretty sure it'll be out next summer. I enjoyed the development of Keira Knightly's character, and in general I thought it was a good mindless summer flick.

Quick spoiler for the end of the movie, and praise for Orlando Bloom, so skip accordingly:

Select to view spoiler:

Orlando Bloom seems to go through weird spats of not being able to act, and then being able to act extremely well. IMO, he's not very good at acting with his voice or with his whole face, but now and then he can really act with his eyes and eyebrows. The look he gives Elizabeth (Keira Knightly) after he sees her with Jack made my stomach flip. Now that I think about it, he was pretty good at acting with his eyes in LotR, too...

Copilot, honey, are you ok? Yesterday you were really really happy, today you seem really upset. What's happening?

I tell this to people a lot, usually when they get a cold as a joke, but damnit I mean it: Copilot, DON'T DIE!

Bah, anyways, been reading this thread for more than an hour now, trying to catch up...

So lets see... animal cruelty, bad, animal slaughter, unavoidable, and animals do it to each other, not like the perverse human mind invented it. But yeah, gotta be humane, that's something the perverse human mind can do, we'd sure as hell better do it.

Urgh, what else... food: I'm not a picky eater, I'll eat what I have to, but basically i'm a simple eater. I don't like trying new things really, as i've never found anything that was more than a "meh, I suppose I could eat this for the rest of the night without comment"... Still prefer to live on toast, turkey, watermelon, grapes, bread, that sorta thing. Eatin' it like it was a few hundred years ago... (I'm so proud that I might be able to survive in the past hehe, at least in eating terms.)

Eh, can't remember anything else. And now, back to Copilot, damnit there's plenty to live for, if nothing else just keep posting over n over so we know you're ok.

wow- I knew if I left you alone for a few hours this would happen:)
NV- sorry about your peach... and I loved the idea of hunting stupid white boys ( reminds me of Elaine Boozlers rift on the she was asking for it rape defense...her response "women go out and find and ugly man and shoot him in the leg. He was asking for it"

Food- Ok I think there is a big difference between vegitarian( people who choose not to eat meats etc and don't make a big deal of it ) and veginazis ( who millitantly try and convert/villify anyone who doesn't see things their way)

Weird food I like Chili and pickles:) sorry but I do.

You've already seen my embarrasing story ( mind you I have many many more)

Guys crying..I don't like guys who cry often or whine at all..but I think tears can be a good thing if they express a genuine emotion and I don't think anyone should feel badly or embarrassed about crying :)

Copilot- OK hon stop what your doing, put down the chemicals, and step back with your arms raised...The reason you feel so awful and crappy and lonely and unloved is because every chemical substance you just mentioned is a central nervous system depressant...so you basically just gave yourself a big case of nasty icky depression and that is your hangover..Now breathe and know you are not a horrible person for making a mistake. Being human is making mistakes feeling like you are worthless because of a mistake is a serious sign that you had parents who shamed you...NOW relax and just take a day to clear your head and let all the nasties seep out of your system and then you can decide what you want to do differently next time...'cause there are always next times and do-overs in real life. You just have to give yourself permission to have a do-over ok:)HUGS and more HUGS

CP, sweetie, you need to cut the bad habits from running/ruining your life. At least cut down on the alcohol some and drop the pot completely. They not only make you more depressed, but can permanently damage your brain and your body. If you want help or contact information about support groups in your area, feel free to message me and I can help you find some - they really do help. If you want to quit, you don't have to be alone in doing so.

And I'd like to apologize if I'm imposing or overstepping any boundaries. I just hate to see good people get their lives messed up because of addiction or other problems.

I must admit to doing bad things to myself in bad times.
This weekend I got very snockered. So much that I felt sick. It goes along with the crying thing mentioned earlier. I will go a very long time without crying and wake up in tears. I hate it. But those things build and build until they find somewhere to go.
I drank until I was sick sometimes just to get the poison out. Or I'd walk for days to work it out. Anything to exhaust the bad things ability to hold on.

seems most everyone is pondered out.....
another thing... it seems that there is a conspicuous absence of males in the Male and Female Imponderables.... i'm counting 3, 4 maybe.... i guess we must have you ladies figured out.... right.

and one other thing, while i'm doing absolutely nothing but thinking of strange imponderables.... and this concerns the board from yesterday... during that chaming discussion about, ahem, the trim of the trim.... i probably threw out an off the cuff remark that may have been deemed offensive or demeaning - certainly not my intention - what a woman does wiith her body is entirely up to her.... and i mean in every sense of the word.... (ok...my stand is pro-choice...and mainly because i don't think bureaucrats in government have the right to dicate to a person in a free society..)...am i in trouble yet?

to be honest, i am just so humbly grateful to be allowed access to that particular area, that said area could be festooned with balloons and old christmas ornaments and i would be over-whelmingly happy.....

Dayve- breathe I can't recall anyone taking offense:)

NV- HUGS to you too darlin and just hang in there it has to get better sometime

Tristan- hey at some point we all have to be right once:)

Sorry for the eternal sunshine, but I have a very sunny disposition combined with a love of the trivial ( I don't mean like trivial pursuit) Very small things make me happy so I concentrate on that. A nice smell, my cat's tummy, a phrase in a book, pondering Brazilians with you guys, my favorite dessert, etc. I've found if you don't sweat the big stuff and just enjoy what's there even if it's stupid and trivial, life kinda works out ok:)

As for an imponderable here's a fun one...according to my magazine most guy's favorite position is woman on top:) Most women say it's their fav too...sooooo let's here it folks...

I expect this makes me an oddity since mine is definitely guy on top...

Dayve,

I, personally, haven't read anything so far that has been offensive. (wait, wasn't there a troll at one point?)

And just for fun, I think there are far more males here than you give credit for. Let's count (if I leave someone off, please chime in. This is from memory...and I am getting older):

Menfolk:
Penguin
Dayve
Tristan
GED
13
Whitefall
NVGHOSTRIDER
Kenobius
Lysander (ocassionally)
ScorpionRegent popped in today
PDCharles

Womenfolk:
MSG
PhoenixRose
Mal4Prez
FMF
Co-Pilot
Rugbug
CaliforniaKaylee
SBDB
Deepgirl187
SpaceAnjl
Seryn

Seems pretty equal. And I just exhibited my love for making useless lists, which I did mention a bazillion threads ago. Also, I get all excited about there actually being men on this board. It's strange as the other board I am active on is 99% female, but that's just the way it is in the horseworld.

erm, as for MsG's, imponderable.

er...., hmmm, right (i can't believe i'm going to say this in public) My ExSO's all used to love woman on top (kinda like Mal/Nandi in HOG) but i don't know whether it was just their favorites or because i used to do... Haaa ha, oh god, this 'massage' thing. You know those pelvic exercises we were on about a few threads ago? Well, having done them since i was a kid, i have quite a bit of, um control. So yeah, get the timing right, and, well, they seemed to enjoy it.

man on top is good, purely 'cause it means the angles are right. and the erm, strength is there.

I do hope my mother never reads this. God, my father! I'm pretty sure he's got himself convinced that im still virgin.

well lets face it NV...you do know us:) I mean if pressed you could probably write a paragraph or so on our likes dislikes, personality, habits, relationships, attitudes, etc...
Also I think we should reserve cattle prod to the junk for rapists...it seems a bit extreme. Whereas posting their name/pic/and phone number on a herpes alert website should be mandatory for those guys who just want to lie there( same for girls who want to lie there too)

EDIT- Seryn ROTFLMAO That was great and may I say I would seriously have to consider throwing myself into a crevass should my mom or dad read this!!!! especially my daddy
EDIT AGAIN- as for your imponderable...can't say as I have. I have a lot of male friends and I would NEVER see them as anything else ( but that's mainly 'cause i know them too well to even think that)I don't as a general rule get crushes or really get hot and bothered over someone easily ( huge sudden crush on causal not withstanding)

oh, the huge sudden crushes were allowable i'm sure - there were quite a few hotties unveiled, and we wern't expecting it! it was surprise! honestly!

to me crushes are very different - they mean finding someone i like the look or the sound of the general impression of, but just enjoying the 'sigh' happy flutter' sensations, and never really making any effort to get to know them better. Its fantasy i suppose. With all my ExSO's, i was actually very direct, and the process was quite quick - i one expressed interest, the other reciprocated, things got of to a flying start.

that was all totally beside the point. i think its time to go to bed.

Well said maam.

Sorry, just took another one of those gorram quizzes and I'm Zoe again! Not that it is a negative thing. Conflicted.

Sorry I can't be much more help COPILOT. We need to create a commune for Browncoats out in the woods somewhere. That way we have a place to run in times of need. That or our own brand of ice cream. We can all sit back and lean on eachother while spooning Mal-adjusted Rocky Road or Chocolate-Cherry Inara fudge Sundae. Perhaps some Strawberry Cheesecake Kaylee Chunk.

MMM, ice cream.

Love ya'll. See ya on the flip side.

ADD: MSG- Gotta keep that manwhore pimp hand strong. I may need a good bap here and there too.
She may just be target practice for the bappin' hand.

I'm telling you, let's all pitch in and buy an island. And we shall call it... This Land.

NVG, we are with you!

Copilot, you are beautiful! You have nothing to worry about in that regard!

And I like the idea of "This Is-Land"! When do we start?
