You think you know--what's to come, what you are. You haven't even begun.

Why is "of" spelled with an F? I've always wondered that.
And why is it that less than half the members of this site seem to be active? I mean, some chat and post in blue sun but aren't on the forums, and that kind of thing, but there are all these empty profiles; no forum posts, no Blue Sun items. I don't get that. Especially since so many events are discussed on the forums; it makes me sad that people would miss that.
And why oh why when one window of IE freezes and I end the task, does every single window close down? I lose things that way.

Hey, you said "random thoughts"

I did, but I thought everyone would realize that that meant the discussion would be limited to badgers and their inscrutable ways!

Ever notice how some words only ever appear in one form? For example, invincible, indelible, indefatigable, resurrected, disgruntled, and inept. Nothing is ever vincible, delible, defatigable, surrected, gruntled or ept.

Actually, vincible is a word. Not in common usage, but a word nonetheless. I think defatigable is also a word, I might have to check that. *edit* yeah, it is.
The others, not words, true.
I was thinking about a few words like that awhile ago, but now I can't remember what I was thinking about. I think it had to do with "re". Like, something being returned is different from something being re-turned.
Well, it was something like that.

There's a restaurant in my area that makes a trout flambé with butter, heavy cream, and fennel that is just about the best food ever in the history of the entire real universe and all the invented ones.

Tell you what, next time you're in scenic Allentown, PA (and hey, who isn't at least twice in their lives, right? it's like a podunk Mecca or some such), I'll take you there and you can be the flame that makes the dish.

back when i was traveling the country, i always had some Conan paperbacks with me - i was sorely dissapointed with the film version....
