Hehe, I get that a lot. I was just teasin'. It just seems like such a shame for so many Browncoats of both genders to be looking for that special someone. But I really was just teasing.

No offense taken.

Typed a bunch of crap but deleted it all. Did the usual "Guy who don't know what to say so I'll talk out my as" thing.

Like to find a fellow Browncoat.

oh good eye rugbug. I was kind of hoping that part would go unnoticed, but damn you read well...yeah it's my birthday:) Sadly it's my 33rd birthday and boy I hate the whole "mid thirties" thing. I just thought my neighbor was so cute to call. Oh and I did find out her birthday so I can reciprocate.

Hey I have an imponderable ( not really seasonally appropriate, but oh well) So what is the most romantic thing you ever did for Valentines or had done for you on Valentines?

Man Penguin is gonna rue the day he taught me how to do that:)

MSG: I'm loving my thirties, but will admit that turning 35 (gulp) was a little difficult. As Sally would say: "And I'm gonna be 40". Yes, it's still a few years off, but it's there. And it's now closer than 30.

Never been with anyone during Valentines.

I have a great valentine's with a twist story :) Our first valentine's my boyfriend( now my husband)and I had been dating 4 months and I'm at his place and he gets out what looks like a white ring box and gets down on one knee. My brain freezes and I am just about to start the we haven't know each other that long I think this should wait etc, when he opens the box to reveal a pair of earrings. He cracks up and says " the look on your face was priceless" I cracked up laughing. It was right then I knew absolutely he was perfect for me:)

Caught the part about it being your birthday, had to run home to find some keys. Another pony is leaving the yard. '76 GMC, 454, lowered, ugly. My kind of pony. Little sad, but oh well.

Why? is my only question about Valentines Day. Ain't it hard enough to keep up with those you love all year. Plus there's: anniversaries, weddings, funerals, religious holidays, social holidays, cultural holidays, etc, etc, etc. So 1. Those who are not in love get to wallow
2. Those who are rub it in to #1.
3. Those who forget or are too busy get in trouble for doing so.

I am getting worse. Used to get everyone at the office flowers for Valentines Day and Mothers Day. Not that I don't care. Just impartial to alot of things these days.

Valentines Day, another kick in the junk in a long and continuing list.

Dude, you think you're having a dry spell. I haven't met anyone who lives in my area in 2 years. Like a fool I hang out with the women I am attracted to as much as possible when their in town. Which just makes me sit there and think how great it could be if they lived closer. *sigh*

I turned 33 this year, too - a bit of a "gulp" factor there. Not so bad. It gets worse each year, of course.

I had to butt in.

"...we are bringing enlightenment to others. Showing them there is a better way..." is kinda Alliance. sort of 'you will be enlightened and you will follow the better way whether you like it or not! Don't make us shoot you. (I like that cheers whoever said that first!)

The Independants way more 'we wanna be free! to do what we wanna do!

or 'do as you would be done by'

or even 'do whatever the hell you want to, just don't make me shoot you.'

Which is why Mal still couldn't get it together with Inara after a season and a film.

Sadly there absolutly nothing that can explain away Simons crapness with the ladies.

I'm a bit frustrated a work today, so here I am going through older posts instead of working.

The worst way to break up with someone? Yeah, probably via email or IM. I'm thankful that hasn't happened to me yet, but an ex did break up with me via voicemail. My cell phone had no reception where I worked and I would usually turn it off so that I wouldn't waste half the battery on going in and out of analog roam. I forgot to turn it off that day and just happened to be in a part of the building where I got signal when she called but couldn't answer right away and I called her back a couple of minutes later without listening to the message. So I guess she broke up with me twice.
