As I'll be off to there in a few days, I was wonderin' if anyone else will be going?

Yeah, it's not FF related...but it is fun, and it'd be shiny to see folks from here, there.

NAUGHTYMAN

Would have thought there'd be at least a few SCA folks on this site.
Have fun and bust some heads!

It's so wierd to see this. Just finished the newest sherilyn kenyon darkhunter book, and she made the rather annoying heroine an expert swordsman ala the SCA and mentioned pennsic. not nearly as good as her putting dragoncon in one of the old books tho.

Thanks, I'd have thouht there'd have been a few as well.

Oh...BTW I'm a merchant slave, so no head-busting needed...unless it's a shoplifter.

Well...if anyone is going and wants to talk and all, I'll be working for Hammond Crafts & Jewelry, Moongate Designs, and The Rat Lady. Yep...she sells plague rats! Last year's hot seller was the Toxic Plague Rat.

Three days 'til then. YEA!!

I don't know about that...

Never been to DragonCon, so can't really compare (even if I have been to big media cons in the past) but Pennsic is a blast! But...if campin' out for a week or two in the smoldering heat, driving rain with flooding isn't your bag, then the choice would be somewhat easier. *giggle* No kidding. My first year folks were body-mud surfing on the "roads" in the camp ground.
