I bought my loner set off of Amazon for $25 last March. For a couple days in the previous week, it was at $19 (don't know if that was a mistake or not).

I don't recall seeing DVD's getting more expensive instead of less expensive as time goes on. It was much more appealing for prospective fans when they only had to drop $25 for the set. Oh well. Maybe it will go back down again.

Gotta say, StealthGuy...what I was focusing on was your UserID #...876? Possibly the earliest I've seen still posting on this site.

Yikes!

Yeah, I am a born again Firefly fan. I am/was a big Buffy fan (at least for the first 4 or 5 seasons), and I was very excited about Firefly. Hence, I joined this site when I first heard about it. However, I lost my way when Firefly first aired. I was unimpressed with the show, but I guess I could blame it on Fox's episode order. I have found the error of my ways ever since Serenity came out on DVD.

Ahhh, Blessed are those who can acknowledge the error of their ways.

I watched the BDS when it first aired, too - but due to my work schedule back then and Fox's "ineptness", I didn't understand the storyline fully until the box set came out either.
