I think nobody should ever watch any gorram FOX TV series,so its fine to watch their movies just not their gorram TV stuff.

Here's my poem about FOX

Fox canceled a great show
I'll shoot them with Inara's bow,
Fox should have heavy tax
then I'll give'em a pax,
Universal made a big damn movie
we browncoats think it's groovy,
we all need to tell
that Fox are going to a special hell!

America loves a winner!

Maybe one reason is that our BDH's keep getting resigned to do shows w/ F*X.

Adam in The Inside

Gina in Standoff

and various others.

But F*X TV does deserve a special hell, all of its own.

U! f*x

People love a happy ending. So every episode, I will explain once again that I don't like people. And then Mal will shoot someone. Someone we like. And their puppy. - Joss

MISBEHAVEN

While I absolutely loathe Fox News and I rarely watch cable outside of the Sci-Fi channel and HBO, I'm grateful to them for one thing: Firefly. I know they cancelled it, which is incredibly moronic, but who knows if it would ever have been made at all without them. That said, I hope someone fired the gorram fool who pulled the plug on the best damn sci-fi show in the verse!

Morbid and creepifying I got no problem with, so long as you do it quiet like.

This is probably the best idea I've heard in a while. People are always saying about how people in the TV industry only know the language of money. There's been tons of suggestions and support for showing companies that investing in Firefly will bring in money, but so far I haven't personally heard a fully unified and organized plot to show companies that they'll actually lose money without the show.

I've never been one for senseless bitching that doesn't do anything, or taking people to court for rediculous reasons. That said, boycotting is the old fasion American way, one of the purest American ways for the people to let their voices be heard without getting the government to do things for them.

I'm behind this idea %100, but this is certainly another front that needs a head like everything else in the Summer of Serenity.

May have been the losing side. Still not convinced it was the wrong one.

Been boycotting them since Firefly went off the air. Only time I tuned in was for Adam's show "The Inside", which by the way ruttin' Fox promptly cancelled.

So, I don't watch them at all. Don't plan to.

We sniff the air, we don't kiss the dirt.

It's not hard to boycott Fox--there's never anything on worth watching anyway.

Y'all ain't gettin' it: FX don't want US!

We're too damned intelligent and discriminating for their advertisers' collective "tastes." They'd MUCH rather cater to the mindless vapid drones who worship Paris Hilton, Jessica Simpson, et al. It's easy as hell to sell them suckers sheit - just throw a near-nekked girl on that just had her first real orgasm and desperately wants to share her body with the world to get more.

The dick-driven boys will gladly by "Axe" sprays by the caseload 'cause it sure did get that dweeb on the screen some action. Them sad low-self-esteem girlies will gladly buy all the products necessary to dress themslves up like hoes to git all dat "luvin'" they been so sorely lackin' in all their life thus far. T'aint none o' dem gonna figger out da trut' 'til it's too late n' dey got 3 slobberin' little brats of their own ta neglect and start the cycle all over again. By that time a new batch o' fresh dumbass teens n' college partiers will be ready to be led around by their hormones (a.k.a. "whore-moans"), fillin' da vacancies left by the freshly disillusioned.

Face it, folks - intelligent free TV will be an extreme rarity as long as it's most profitable to target the young and impressionable (read: "stupid") with ads. If you don't beleive what I'm saying, then just take a look at SciFi - what possible other explanation could there be for that wrestling crap to be on the weekly lineup?!?

I used to think that the network should change their name to "HorrorFi" 'cause it seemed they showed way more of that crap than what their name implied. The fact is that it's all about the money - if showing crap that takes several fewer brain cells gets them an audience bump of even 0.1% then it's worth it as far as they're concerned 'cause it allows them to charge that much more for advertising time.

The only way to fix this is to force the cable companies to allow us to pay only for the channels we actually watch -- something they have been fighting tooth and nail against by buying off virtually every politician necessary to prevent it. They don't want to lose the ton of money that they get to charge us by making us buy all their channels in bulk. Only when the networks' collective asses are beholden more to the subscribers than the advertisers to make money will we ever actually get what we've been paying for all this time.

In the meantime, TV will continue to suck -- FX especially, the cable companies (particularly Comcast) will continue to get richer sucking our money from us, and the politicians will continue to "investigate the matter" so they can suck some of that money their way for their re-ellection campaigns. Ain't America the greatest?
