The Ariel Ambulance is currently resting at the

Nevada State Museum and Historical Society
in historic Lorenzi Park
700 Twin Lakes Drive
Las Vegas, Nevada 89107

after it's latest con visit.
Soon it will be going to MountainCon (Salt Lake City, UT September 22-24).

We need volunteers to help put it back together. We NEED to get it put together soon, or the museum won't want to keep it! So get a group together (no experience or exceptional abilities required)--let's do the thing!
I think Buzz will be there Monday from 12 - 5.
If other days are better for some people, please email Adam.

A family is a place where minds come in contact with one another. If these minds love one another the home will be as beautiful as a flower garden. But if these minds get out of harmony with one another it is like a storm that plays havoc with them. - Gautama Siddharta

Oh, come on! There've gotta be Browncoats somewhere around Vegas!

(Yeah, this is me. Right continent, wrong country. As usual.)

Steven Brust is a Las Vegas Browncoat. Maybe he will show up.

His new book Dzur the next Vlad Taltos novel just came out in hardback.

Steven Brust has also written a Firefly novel set between the graphic novel Serenity: Those Left Behind and the movie Serenity.

He is trying to get it published and has promised fans that if after years of trying he will publish it as fan fiction. He likes to read the first chapter at conventions.

Thanks for the bumps folks.
You are right that some people might be outta town or with their families. Still, Vegas isn't going to be the only chance for Browncoats to lend a hand. It's just the current stop.

It proved too hard to work on the ambulance at the museum so it's been moved to a private residence. If you would still like to help, please contact Cameron at herbiemiester53@aol.com

I know Vegas Job #2 happens next month, you will have a large contingent of Browncoats in Vegas... I'd track down the folks organizing that event and hijack some of their time!

Browncoats are the shiniest folks in the 'verse

It's Burning Man, and I know a good contingent of the Cali/Nevada Browncoats were headed to the Playa this week.

I'd help if I could but I'm tied to the mountain this week. (Gorram tourists!)

Bring the tourists too.
Honestly the best thing you can do to help if you can't be there is to spread the word.

Just got word that Cameron is going to be working on the AA this weekend. We have the restoration agenda listed at the offical site.
http://www.arielambulance.org/

While Cameron is handling the fiberglass replacements it would be nice to get some gerneral cleaning done as well.

Good news Anonymous1. The AARG spokesman (tho I doubt if he sees himself that way), Adam, contacted Steve Brust's assistant and she is also very much a Browncoat too. Hopefully he will hear about the AA and help out.
Thanks for the heads up on him.
