SHINY people.. I actually got to spend Quite a lot of time speaking with them both, due to my Handicap access, enough to where we were all laughing and joking and hated to break it up.. I caught them by Accident just as they came to their booths to clean up...

(Notice How Summer Blushes when you tell her how cute she looks ;)

(Alan, John "You know Who" was Making "kissy kissy" faces at us in the background, that's why I kept looking away)

VERY friendly and funny!!!! We had a blast!!!

Hi Guys! (They said they would pop in and read the message boards when they got home and settled in), I made it home alive and didn't get "Staked" ;) Also, Thanks for the Pics and Autographs! That was above and Beyond, and made my day!!!!

PATIENCE

Summer and Alan were extremely gracious and didn't seem to mind posing for pictures and shook hands immediately. They HAD to be exhausted from all the appearances, being shuffled here and there, standing up and sitting down taking pictures with fans, but they never showed it.

If either of them looks here, THANK YOU both for taking the time from your busy schedules to meet and greet your fans.

I have to say this is the most fun I've had in a while (Didn't realize how much I needed the break), and we got to meet SO many people, and exchange Business cards with MANY people. We went down to the Southern Bahama's for a week late last year to visit friends, and while I had a "Good time" on the Cruise and Scuba diving and such, it wasn't as much "Sheer fun" as Dragon*con was.

I thought it was funny that "The real" Darth Vader was there, as was the "Real" Chewbacca (Sp?), and their tables were nearly empty, While Alan and Summer's Table was SWAMPED...

If Universal or Sci-Fi had ANY doubts about Browncoat fandom, they don't anymore after Dragon*Con 2006.. Browncoats EVERYWHERE.

Hate you missed it, hope to see you there next time!

No Problem.. We knew a LOT of people WANTED to attend, but let's face it, you're gonna drop AT LEAST a grand, and probably closer to Two, to do the Whole Dragon*Con Thing.. So we wanted to give EVERYONE as much info and pics as we could so you'd feel like you were "Kinda there" and didn't have to spend Two-G's to do it.

No Need to be envious, you were there in spirit! And you got to see the same things we saw, and didn't have to wait in lines, OR deal with the 8 foot tall guy with a huge hat sitting right in front of you (Which we didn't have to deal with, being able to sit in the first or second rows).. and SOME things you see there you REALLY wish you hadn't seen.. you rub your forehead and think "ERASE ERASE ERASE" ;)

Plus, it probably smells better where you were, cause a LOT of those folks smelled like they hadn't showered in... well, never

That was another thing we noticed.. BROWN COATS BATHE!!!!! We have THAT going for us, and most of the other Fanbases CAN NOT say that ;)

We feel so sad to miss all the shiney conventions coz we're so far away...

You got that right!! The weather was really pretty mild for Atlanta, with nice breezes blowing a lot, and the hotels are air conditioned. I know it was crowded, but DAAAAANNNNG some of those folks could have used some judiciously applied soap and water. I never did smell a malodorous Browncoat, though.

It's too bad here in Colorado the only convention we have ((I think)) is the Anime con. Not that Anime is bad, it's just that "Those Left Behind" doesn't count and I don't think that the producers would get the BDHs. It would be so cool if they came.
