Ok, here's how it is:

I'm going to S3 this weekend, so I decided to take a few extra days off work and come down to london to check out a couple of museums and galleries.
I got into London at about lunchtime, checked into my hotel, and decided to do some shopping for stuff I just can't get where I live.
I'm in Forbidden Planet, picking up a couple of Firefly and Serenity books (I was actually looking for Those Left Behind, but they didn't have them) that I don't yet have, and as I'm walking up to the counter, a pretty girl looks at the books in my arms, and askes in either an american or canadian accent "Are you going to the con?"
Now, I'm going through several things at once here, for a start, it's hot. very hot in London today. I've also walked several miles with a knee that should only be walking a few hundred yards a day, and I'm on the verge of collapsing due to low blood sugars (diabetics really should eat every now and then). So I just grunt "yes". to her.
"Cool, see you there" she says. And walks deeper into the shop.

Now, this is part bragging, that in a city the size of London, I not only manage to find a fellow browncoat, but one that's going to the same convention as me within 4 hours of getting there.

This is also part apology to the young lady in question. I did not mean to be rude, I was just having a crisis moment.

Thanks.
