Been looking at a few naughty sites huh...

A Trojan Horse is software that runs on your computer and allows a hacker access. Do you have an Anti-Virus and Firewall program running?

If so make sure the Firewall blocks any progam that you don't know from accessing the net. Make sure your anti-virus files are upto date and then do a full scan, that should find and remove any Trojans from your system.

More insane ramblings by the people who brought you beeeer milkshakes!

Watch out when you sleep tonight. 1000 Trojan warriors are going to jump out of your computer and take over your house.

Ok, now to be serious. You are going to need to buy, be able find a decent and free, anti-virus program to remove the virus. A trojan virus is basically a virus that lays dormant till a certain date the activates and does whatever it wants to do to your system.

Stay off of the porn sites, man. A lot of the one's advertising free pr0n usually have trojans and other virus' on them. I know this because my brother gets a lot of virus' and he just looks at pr0n all day long.

For the firewall, you can download "ZoneAlarm" for free. Not sure about a free anti-virus.

EDIT- You might check out download.com for the free anti-virus. There might be one...

Look son I don't know what the fuck your problem is but I just tried to help you out. A normal Human being would be grateful.

If you have no purchasing power where did your computer come from? The Computer fairy? Mommy and Daddy? If the latter is the answer send Ma and Pa here:

Or get to google and type in a search like, oh I don't know "Free Virus Scanner" or "Shareware Virus Scanner". It's not rocket science.

LOL! I'm just playing with you, bro. As far as getting a free anti-virus program, well there are free trials, and there should be links to them in your Security Center in the Control Panel. I'm assuming you are using Windows XP SP2? I sudgest either using CA's Anti-virus/Firewall combo, or Panda's Anti-virus/firewall combo. Both of those programs are very good. They are both 30 day trials with full access to the programs. Either of those will wipe out whatever's on your computer.

Not sure if you have any spyware removal programs, but those will help out as well. I use Ad-aware, a lot of people use Zone Alarm and Spy Sweeper as well. Check out this website, you might be able to find some good cheap or free programs.

I just heard from MAGHAFFAR about a new site that has free trial run,( after thirty days you have to pay to continue service.) Anti-virus software on it. it may or may not help. Anyway, the site is http://www.eset.com/

Maybe it will work, as for me, I'm sticking with Norton, but even Norton doesn't get everything.

There is AVG for free anti-virus. Just do a google search. It is free to non business users.

here is a link I just found. It is better then anything I have run before. Since I got it I have not had a single infection.

Edit: also if you are running Windows XP you might want to turn on your Firewall.

HERA7

Four essensial and FREE programs for the computing paraniod.

ZoneAlarm - Firewall program, very effective, lets you know when a program from your computer is trying to access the network/internet. Automatic

Ad-Aware - good for finding and removing spyware. Run it weekly

Bazooka - Searches for bad stuff like trojans and other programs that alter your computer and tells you how to remove them. Use weekly

Site Advisor - gives you info on potential nasty websites. Automatic

All the above are found on download.com

I suggest buying an anti-virus program, there are several to choose from and get one of the good ones. McAfee is the best value, Symantec is the most agressive virus/trojan buster. Free ones are not so solid, it takes investment to keep on top of all the nastiness on the cortex, er web.

Or you could get a Mac

This is more for Guy, but it goes along with the things you mention Penguin. I've actually found that Ad-aware Personal SE works better for me than Spybot does, of course I aparently beat Spybot by waiting too long to update, and by the time I'd updated I already had something on my computer that beat spybot into submission.
