As for the bikkies, well, who needs crackers when ya have Tim Tams? If we really needed to, we could probably make an aussi-ish version using sao's or the like.

Ooooh - if you count people who went to your high school (but you were too young to be in a class with) you could add 'Hunters & Collectors' & 'Crowded House' - not only did the Seymour boys attend Banyule High - their Dad was the Principal there!

... and you're way off the mark with Sao's - we could use Wheaten's or those slightly honeyish Oat Buiscuits ... I've had a few Graham-Crackerish ones and they are light, crumbly and sweet! I actually brought Graham's Crackers back from the Phillipines but wasn't in the mood in the heat of February to try making them!

Of couse there are s'mores lassy! There will always be s'more. Might I suggest adding some freshly sliced strawberries to the mix. Great breakfast twist and it prevents scurvie (sp)!

i may be in danger of scurvy...i love veges, but actually putting together a meal is too hard and long for me...i'm more of a 'if it isn't fully cooked within 15min, i've lost interest and wandered away' kinda person.
had some lime and black pepper chips the other day, do those count??

*sigh* i despair of ever having s'mores...we don't have those craker-y things in Oz and i still don't really get the whole concept... oh well

ummm...i've come to the point where i just grab whatever alcohol is left in my bar and mix it all with various soft drinks (i REALLY need to go shopping...)so, whatever you give me will be peachy keen with me, Kelkhil!!
perhaps something in cocktail form...with a curly-wurly straw!?

I actually had the beginning stages of a severe vitamin c deficiency...the modern definition of scurvy. I apparently was not eating enough veggies and fruits. I'm better now, I promise. This happened several years ago. So, now I am sure to have orange juice with my alcohol!

Well I have never had the problem. I love fruit. Most of them anyway. Even if I do not eat that many I try to drink juice at least once a day.

Thanks for the drink Kelkhil, just the kinda whisky I like (which is Glenmorangie, just so you know )

And I gotta agree, I am a big fan of fruit, even though I admittedly don't eat enough of it. I drink a HELL of a lot of juice though...especially cranberry juice...it's be-owtiful stuff!

tehehehehe...i HATE fruit juice...bleh...but i used to drink cranberry juice with vodka..only, just to get it down, i would add about three times as much vodka as cranberry juice..which i could handle, it just made it a REALLY strong drink to have...and so i stopped drinking that...yeah, pretty much the only adventures in fruit that i've had...

(OOOHH!! that reminds me...talking about incidents with fruit... i could tell you a range of fruit-related stories- but i think the best one is about a girl in my year at high school who, while high at a party, did something with a carrot that...was interesting.... although it did get her the award for the 'person most likely to develop a fruit fetish' at our year12 formal (like senior prom for non-auzzies)...

*giggle* yeah - I have a few fruit stories too SK... not quite along those lines but...

Actually if you talk to just about any doctor who has worked in Emergency/Casualty you will get quite a few like that... the worst one I heard involved an augergine!!! (the mind boggles!!!)... any way - I am calling it quits... Going to bed now that it's after 3am - do you all see the lengths we Aussies go to just to spend some time wiht our FFFfamily?

Good night all! *Magda collects a glass of Baileys proffered to her...* "Thanks Kelkhil - that's what I like - a bar where my every need is anticipated!"

*with a flourish, and a pop, Magda dis-apparates*

Yay for Mudder's Milk. After the nerve wracking half hour that was the final quarter of the AFL grand final (I had put down a $100 bet on it being a draw, back when they were offering odds of 55:1), I need a lot of strong drinks.

I'll be offline for a few hours tonight, since I'll be watching the BDM, but then I'll be back in here to help celebrate the Big Damn 'Versary.
