MISBEHAVEN

I just finished watching the premiere of Dexter on Showtime, and I think it's going to be a really good show. Dexter is a forensic analyst by day and serial killer by night, but he only preys upon other serial killers. As messed up as this premise seems, you can't help but like the guy.

When the going gets weird, the weird turn pro.

My wife and I watched it last night (we have been seeing the previews for a month or so while watching our favorite show, Weeds) and we really liked it. It looks like it is going to be really good.

Yes, this show holds a lot of promise. Hall was great in Six Feet Under so it took me a bit to shake his character from that show but he seems to play Dexter quite well and from the interviews I think he really likes palying him also.

The season "teasers" at the end of the show last night has me hyped that there might be something good to watch this fall. I was quite pleased to see that this wasn't going to be another CSI clone where everything is wrapped up all neat & tidy in one hour.

I'll avoid any spoilers for those of them that haven't seen it yet but the "Barbie" thing was GREAT! Between Weeds and Dexter, I would say that Showtime might be tipping the charts in their favour because HBO just doesn't have anything worth watching this Fall.
