Is it bad that what she said made perfect sense to me?

Just in case this hasn't been noticed before (and my apologies if it has) our Captain was names Best TV Actor for Firefly, the big merc got Best Supporting TV Actor, and Saffron was Best Guest for Trash, voted best episode.

Link is below (I hope!) ...

May have been the losing side. Still not convinced it was the wrong one.

Good news indeed!

More awards means Firefly and Serenity will draw more attention from new people. The more new people that give the 'verse a look, the more new fans we can count on. The more new browncoats that join the ranks, the more dvds that sell. The more dvds that sell...........well, you get the picture.

Thanks for the link.

You think you know--what's to come, what you are. You haven't even begun.

Yes, we did notice Also, Firefly got best show, and Trash got best episode, and Whedonesque got best website. And Nathan was first runner up for best actor in a movie, and Summer was first runner-up for best actress in a movie, and Serenity was first runner-up for best movie, and Summer (or Gina) would doubtless have gotten best actress in a TV show if they had been nominated like they were for the movie catagory, but they weren't.

This is excellent news, the report from the link above speaks very positively of the fan base and its effect, something managements of media must be starting to take notice of.
I'm glad I voted

Slightly disappointing that Harry Potter beat Serenity for best movie.....

But nonetheless - great news.

But consider how many fans Harry Potter has! (I hate those movies. Why are they so gorramn popular? Did fans of the movies not read the books? Doom doom doom... Ok, mini-rant over) It's this huge, HUGE franchise, and it's the only thing that beat us! Yeah, it's sad that we couldn't win (and how is Harry Potter SyFy? Anyone? Anyone?) BUT considering the competition, I think we did good!
