I love this show. I seriously do. I don't care what you've heard, it's WAY MORE than eye candy. I like to think of it as Xander's two sons who are way kick ass on the road fighting demons.... it's just good.

Anyway.

Summer Glau is guest starring as the main villan in 'Afterlife' on October 19th. You can catch it on The CW at 9/8c.

Also a note: 'Meg Manning' from Veronica Mars (Alona Tal) is a new recurring character on the show playing a hunter called Jo.

I really hope you guys tune in.

Sweet!

And Amy Acker was on last season, for those of you who didn't see it (DVDs out now, go get 'em).

As was Julie Benz! Faith is still such an awesome episode. Truly, truly awesome. It's nice that we're getting Jossverse Alum on.

ooooooh... I cannot wait for the next season to come out to Australia!! Knowing our network TV stations it will come out next year and they will alternate repeats of the 1st season with new episodes of the 2nd and then when we're all fed up with being treated like idiots they'll change the time slot and stuff us around some more... but I still cannot wait!

Eep! Sounds like Fox ;)

I love this show. I seriously do. I mean eye candy aside, it's, at the core, about family. About sacrificing everything to help others from the monsters in the dark.

Sounds like a certain little blonde slayer ;)

Plus: fun dialogue and reasonably accurate paranormalcy ('cause I know enough demonology to notice that).

She is also a guest actor in The Unit for a couple of episodes this season, one of them being last week.

But this is the core of all great storytelling, isn't it? The individual seeing beyond himself to the good of others, but still remaining the individual inasmuch as he/she/it (Hellboy? If we ae to betruly politically correct, we need to remember the non-humans out there doing good works!) still stands against the norm and the system.......almost every great story can be broken down to this basic formula, and ther is nothing wrong with formula.....it's all about how you make the formula work.

Did any of yall see River on the Unit? I was chanel flipping, usaully don't watch the unit, when I heard this girl say something, and I flipped it back. I looked, and she was wearing a dress and lots of make up, but I was kinda like trying to figure out where I knew her from, and I was like, that looks like River. And then she said something again and I was like, huh that soundslike river. and then finally they did a close up shot of her and she kinda twisted her head to look at the person she was talking to the way she does and I was like, OMG! its RIVER!!!!! It was so awsome. :) I guess her charecter isn't perminate, as in was only there that one day so I'll continue to ignor the unit, but man it was cool to her Summer working. :)even if it isn't being the wierd and creepifying girl we know and love. :)

Jayne: "Testing, testing. Captain, can you hear me?"
Mal: "I'm standing right here."
Jayne: "You're coming through good and loud."
Mal: " 'Cause I'm standing right here."

Summer is the villan?! Wow, that should be interesting.

I'm not sure how our sweet lil' Summer is going to pull off being a bad guy, lol. Maybe she will have those reaver blades with her.

Hey, don't worry, the Impala gets a resurection in 3 or 4 episodes.

How many Jaynes does it take to change a light bulb?

Two. One to try to put it in and another to find a bigger hammer.
