Until you can be mistaken for Barry White, your voice has somewhere to go.

Did you know Barry's voice broke overnight? He went to sleep with a kid's voice and woke up Barry White. I can't remember the exact quote, but I think he said that he just woke up, said good morning to his Mum and "scared the hell out of both of us!"

OK that is seriously funny....imagining a little kid going to bed and waking up, toddling into the kitchen and saying hello in that Barry White voice.

And my voice is definitely not Barry White deep...more Kathleen Turner without the weird accent.

You think you know--what's to come, what you are. You haven't even begun.

And the callback line pops unbidden into my head:

'Ladies and Gentlemen, this is the point in the movie where the choreographer was shot!'

You know, I've never sat down and watched that movie without the callback lines coming from a theater full of people. There's still many lines I have no clue of because they're being shouted over. Heh.

Ah, Rocky. It has been awhile. There got to be a little too much... drama with certain people involved with the show as regulars or cast, though, so I haven't gone back. I think it would spoil the fun to have folk asking what happened with me and Ex of Doom. Or worse, to actually see him there.

I think I need a drink

Starbucks offered something very similar to that, at least a couple of years ago. It was a little 6 oz cup, hot chocolate, but it was Godiva chocolate, if I am remembering right. Very very tasty, and no coffee to muck up the chocolate taste.

Speaking of coffee, I think I'll have a couple pints of Guinness myownself. Great way to start a long day.

Ohhh, MsG. Homemade sauce. I love making all day marinara sauce. I usually put so much stuff in it (veggie-wise) that I don't use any meat. Fresh tomatoes, onions, garlic, green peppers, mushrooms, and zucchini. And, of course, fresh basil, oregano and parsley.

The last time I made that was the day before i got diagnosed with acid reflux. Now it's on the verboten list.

*sigh*

I'll take a Prilosec, please.

Sweetheart, I get up at 5:30 and get to work at 6. It sounds divine, and on my off days I might even try it, but I leave myself just enough time to dress, put in contacts, and grab a soda an my meds before I head out the door. I can make the instant ones in the microwave in the office, so that is what I do. Getting up any earlier on a weekday just isn't an option.

See the nice thing with the oatmeal is you can make a big batch and put it in smaller tupperware containers then as you grab your soda, grab the oatmeal and have something worthy of you:)HUGS

Oh I do that or I do my breakfast casserole on a weekend ( see recipe thread) and then box it up the same way. Oh never mind about the recipe thread it's so huge it'll take you forever. Here's how you make it.

Grease a casserole dish. Rip up 8 slices of bread into bite sized pieces. Put 5 eggs, 1/1/2 cups milk, and 1 tablespoon mustard into a bowl and beat it until it's well mixed. Cut up 6-7 slices of ham or 8 pre-cooked sausage links into bite sized pieces. Put the bread and meat into the casserole dish and mix it up to make sure it's evenly distributed. Pour the egg/milk mixture over it and cover with grated cheese. Cover it and put it in the fridge overnight. The next day mix one can cream of celery soup and 1/2 cup milk until smooth and then spread the mixture over top of the cheese. Bake at 300 degrees for an hour and a half.

It makes an amazing cheesy egg souffle kind of thing.

I don't think it's lazy just we get into a rut and we're rushed and don't think of it. It really is good to do a double batch and then pig oout on the weekend and relax and put the leftovers in small containers and grab and go for the week's breakfast..I like it because it makes me feel luxurious to be eating it as I work on stuff at my desk. Mind you I make it with whole grain bread ( sarah lee multi-grain white so it's still got white bread consistency)vegetarian sausage, egg substitute, and low fat cheese so that I'm not jacking up my fat and cholesterol :)

Virgin drink of choice? Hmm.......
How about some Carrot Juice with a splash of Tomato? Or vice versa? Or we could even get some of those Bacardi Fruit mixes and just not add the rum. I used to drink Pina Coladas all the time as a kid without the rum.

MSG - My In-Laws make that egg casarole for X-mas Brunch every year. Good stuff. All though I don't think they add the soup.

As far as the fake meat stuff: I can't eat it. The texture is wrong. The Wifey was a Veg when we started dating and we tried that stuff. She loved it, I hated it. She finally gave up with the Veg thing after my daughter was born. Figured makeing 3 seperate meals for dinner was gonna kill her or something. Man was I surprised when we sat down to Pork Chops and she actually ate one. (No I did not make her do this)

Besides my Doc told me that my Cholestorol (sp) is too low any way. What ever that means.
