Time for another new thread, the first to be started with the new logos.

Which logo do people prefer?

Old thread is here:

I like the second logo, but maybe instead of the female/male symbol on the head, you could put it in a thought bubble. Just a thought (yes, I looked up for the bubble, but it didn't appear).

Help! Someone please come up with a ponderance... please!

NVGHOSTRIDER

Hello and Good Morning to all.

So, a quick addition to the things that really pissed me off recently about IT:

4. Since I was short in the fundage and expected more than what I got... There was a free, FREE! show by my very favoritest Hip Hop group in the whole world in Reno last Thursday. Who Cares is from Sacramento and has been on the tip of my brain for over a year. They have a great mix of Jazz and Hip Hop that sends my soul to peaceful, thought worthy places. And I didn't go because I figured the fourty bucks I'd have spent woulda been for Saturday night.

Okay, sounds a little trivial, missing the show. But I'd missed other things on account of waiting for her that I wish we went to. Now I'm thinking I really wanted to do these things regardess if she was there or not.

Things really seem to be turning around. Not neccissarily shaping up just yet. But definately turning around.

Thank You. All you wonderful folks have no idea how glad I am to have had you on my side.

(Looks up) Long post. Sorry for the rant. I really need coffee now.

And I may be gone for a few hours. Staff meeting. Oh Freakin' Boy!

Shutting up now. :smile;

I understand the turning around but not necessarily improved state of being. Might not see the road ahead too clearly but the road behind is in the dust. Bein' a desert biker I thought you'd appreciate the imagery. We'll continue to be here for you as often and as long as you need. And then some more.

Far as being a long post goes...you don't read many of mine, do you? Don't 'spect many do: they're too damn long for me to reread...!

hey guys, not been around much, as I only just surfaced form the sea of coursework flooding my house. Its the holidays, for crying out loud, whay are my teachers so mean??

hmm... technology I couldnot live without, A hot shower!! I am feeling that pain right now, as we are having the only bathroom in the house re-done, and have no shower for nearly a week.

On a lighter note: I got a new job! yay! waitressing in a cafe, and I earn £15 a week plus tips. not much, I know, but its a hell of a lot better than my old one, only problem is, when I leave, I smell like I fell in the chip fryer.

I went to see Ross Noble live last saturday, he was so funny, I spent half the time not being able to breathe I was laughing so hard.

update boy situ later.

'morning all.

[rant ahoy!]
*blinks at NVG missing a concert* D'you mean the band that you have on your myspace page? That group sounds so nice (based on that one song you have on your page) -- it helped me de-stress last night. *snarls in irritation at Ms InexcuseableIdiot*

Okay...that's IT! NVG, when I get there, that woman better hide 'cause if I find her...
(I'm glad you're dropping her -- hopefully like a rock.)

*hugs NVG* As most of the other womenfolk here have said...You deserve better than that insult to the female gender. (Hrm..maybe I can set her up with bd ex2, 'cept he isn't married. )
[/rant ahoy!]

Okay, just for the sake of laughing -- yesterday, an insurance company dropped off about 2 DOZEN boxes (xerox paper boxes) full of binders at my work place. If you had seen the rush from my office to grab the 'best' ones there (followed by the other teachers in the building, then the whole school) you might have thought we were nuts. We were literally digging through each box for the 'nice' binders. (I grabbed 6, but gave one away to another teacher for her set of binders for possibly next year's students.) So as I sit, I've got 4 binders sitting above my desk, each at least 1.5 - 2 inches thick. (That's not counting the binders I have filled with forms, instructions, and whatnot.)
Teachers are definitely a strange bunch of packrats.

MsG, hope the assembly went well.

*waves to everyone else*

hahaha, Neko, I just have this image of you trying desperately to peer over a huge mound of binders! thanks for the laugh.

MSG: I will definately try that, last week it took two days to get rid of the smell in my hair. Lemons are great, aren't they? they taste great, eating them causes people to make hi-larious faces, they can get rid of almost any smell, and they naturally lighten your hair! gotta love 'em.

The assembly was fine. My little advisory class behaved fabulously which is saying something, because we are seated at the front of the auditorium and the peaker was pointed right at us and I couldn't take the thumping, so I went outside:)

Just helping a kids with a history assignment and I'm so irritated... one of the questions was actually " how long did the Roman Empire last?" ...based on what? are we counting the Holy Roman Empire of Charlemagne? Is he referring to the defeat at Carthage or maybe the last Roman Emperor?? How vague could you possibly be and what an insane question. If historians can't agree, why would you ask your students to state that definitively? What is wrong with this man?

So folks, I'm back for a bit. Sisters arraignment deferred for another two weeks due to lack of counsel. She has to hire her own lawyer 'cause the Tribe won't supply one for her. Ain't that some poop. Whats worse? I'll be helping her pay 'til she can get released long enough to work.

Good News; No, I didn't save money on my car insurance. But the banker did waive three overdraft fees and finally helped me start a savings account that will help with the overdraft protection. I feel a silver lining somewhere but can't quite find the light switch.

Still looking.
