Hey everybody,

I just had a question about bluesunshirts for ya'all. I ordered one as soon as I heard they were being shut down, so I'm thinking twoards the end of September or early October. I know they must have had a ton of orders, all things considered. Not being impatient here, I was just wondering if anyone else had ordered recently and how long it's generally taking for the shirts to make their way out there. I'm not familiar with the people who ran the site or if they come here often and the site doesn't leave any way to contact them anymore.

Thanks for your help in advance!

Mark

You think you know--what's to come, what you are. You haven't even begun.

I think there were a few discussions in One Trading Post about that; can't quite remember, but I think it was there.
Anyway, I'm pretty sure quite a few people were saying that it was taking longer than usual. Seems they got slammed pretty hard and didn't have everything in stock, but they are doing their best. I hope they're still allowed to get the shirts printed *rolls eyes at the foolishness of the world for clamping down on them so hard*

Yes, I had when I heard he was being shut down. I ordered a shirt and a hat.

About two weeks later I emailed Alex and asked where things were...he said he had had some problems with the screen printers, but things would be coming.

I just got it this week. So be patient. I'm sure it will be coming soon.

Mine took around 3 1/2 weeks. I wouldn't worry...I think you'll get it...eventually.

Are the shirts at Cafepress pretty good? I see some Fruity Oaty Bar and Bluesun shirts there.

I placed an order on Oct. 3 and haven't received it yet, so you're not alone. I guess judging from the replies, the whole Uni crackdown and subsequent large amount of last orders has resulted in longer-than-usual wait times for orders to be filled. The only reason I started to worry was because my first order to BlueSunShirts.com, a year or so ago, was filled quite quickly.

If this is your first Blue Sun shirts order, I'm sure you'll be quite happy with the gear; it's great.

Looking forward to getting my shiny new shirts and cap!

I ordered on October 8th.

On October 30th (Monday) I received one shirt in an envelope with no packing slip, invoice or note that the rest would be shipped later.

I still have a few other items I paid for that have still not arrived yet. Hopefully they are just running behind and not that my order got messed up and I'm only getting one of the items.....

I've been hesitant to email them since I have read here that the orders are shipping, but it was odd that I only received one of the items with no documentation.

Had placed separate orders on Sept 23/29. Got the first part of it about the second week of October. Still have yet to get the rest of it, but I'm sure it's coming. Have lots of his stuff, you won't be disappointed.

I placed an order on September 22. I recieved my very shiney Fighting Elves (wearing it now), and Slim's on October 30. Well worth the wait. Would encourage others to do business with 'em 'cept o'course t'ain't there no more...
Think of it as mid - 80's and expect 6 - 8 weeks to deliver

*sidebar to everyone*
Take a breath and try to imagine what it was like when travelling from the Mississippi River to California and back would involve a conversation like, "Probably be back around autumn. I'll push hard, and hopefully make it before the first snow. But don't miss me 'till early next summer if it snows early."

We ordered a couple of shirts on 9/20 and have yet to receive them. Did get an e-mail response to a status inquiry a couple weeks ago saying the order was being shipped later that week but have yet to receive anything.

Hey Jack, glad you got your shirt! Just to let you know, it was FOX who sent the cease and desist order to Blue Sun Shirts, and I thought I'd also let you know Universal backed down from 11th Hour and admitted it was a misunderstanding. We're pretty sure she'll be okay, just has to be careful how she words certain things in the future.

you FOX too!

That's wonderful that they backed off of 11th hour. My brother did mention something about that and I had to smile. I don't believe for a second that this was a misunderstanding on Universal's part. They wanted to send a message and they did loud and clear. I'm sure that Universal in their infinite wisdom does pay some of its lackeys to do nothing but check out the message boards for fansites of its products (you know... market research) and they were seeing an aweful lot of backlash from this ill-advised decision. Universal is still a monster and will never have my respect or gratitude again. Shame on them. The people have spoken! Even if they're too coward to admit it.

Nice job Browncoats!

Looks like this won't be Serenity Valley for 11th Hour after all.

I also ordered a shirt right before they closed down (October 5th), and haven't yet received them, but judging from the responses here, that might still be within the expected time frame. What worries me is that I've not received a response to my email just questioning whether they were still going to be sent, which I sent to him about 2 weeks ago. I sent him another email today, just before I got on here, so hopefully there'll be some word.

He did respond to this email, and what's more, the shirt arrived today. It's shiny! All is good in the Blue Sun Shirts verse.

just wanted to say I received my order recently from Alex. Beautiful shirts, no doubt. Alex had shipped one of the wrong shirts, so he has already corresponded with me on an exchange to correct the mistake. He also said he had some extra "hands of blue" shirts and would throw one in as a kindness....that's customer service! Btw, he did say how swamped he was, and was trying desperately to fill the remaining orders without having any extra stock........take heart,he's on it.
