Just finished watching a Star Trek eps (on loan from my sister) called "Mudd's Women". It's got Captain Kirk and crew in pursute of a small transport vessel piloted (& captained) by a fellow name of Walsh. This guy is ferrying 3 beautiful women across the galaxy to become "Companions" for a group of settlers on a lonely minning planet. These girls carry "irresistble allure" and really captivate the entire male crew once they come aboard the Enterprise.

Just thought the similarities between the Joss/Gene verse were quite fun here.

Check out "Finding Serenity". There's an essay in there comparing FF to Enterprise, and theorising what would happen if the crews swapped ships and universes. It's hi laroius.
