Another rugged actor of the silver screen died today. So sad, he was one of my favorites. He MADE City Slickers work. Rest in peace Jack. Have fun wrastling those steers up there.

If I'm a bitch, then life just got interesting

Just a note, I always thought of all the actors out there he would have been perfect to play Jaynes dad. Pity it'll never happen now.

Wow. Jack Palance was alive prior to 10 NOV 06? I was pretty sure he had died some time ago, but evidently not. I remember him from ‘That’s Incredible.’ You young Whippersnappers with your rock music probably don’t remember that. Although my dad could probably say the same thing to me about shows he watched as a kid. Palance has gone through three generations of Whippersnappers.

I got use to seeing him as a bad ass all the time that when I saw "Bagdad Cafe" he really surprized me that he could play soft spoken artist. You never know the range some actors have until you give them a chance. But I will never forget his role in "Shane". He played the perfect gunslinger. No one could have done it better.

.... and he was in many crappy films

He was also a good host for his version of Ripley's Believe it ... or ................. not
