What soap do you think the BDHs use?

Kaylee - Swarfega; she needs something heavy duty to get all that engine grease out of her feminine pores.

Inara - Lux; über-stylish and spirited with more than a touch of woman. Phwoar!

Jayne - Dove; his sensitive skin needs a special soap.

Zoe - Pears; a favourite of men and women so that her husband can use it too without feeling all girlie.

Simon - Antiseptic handwash (obviously); probably a generic brand now that he's fled the civilisation of Osiris.

River - something she found when wandering around Wash and Zoe's room.

Mal and Book - Cusson's Imperial Leather; it's a real man's soap - masculine and clean. Coincidentally, it's also my soap.

Who wants to debate those choices?

I was thinking about that the other day- well I was thinking about using a soap concept in the caption contest captain tightpants. I was thinking Zoe probably liked girly soaps and occasionally stole a strawberry soap out of Innara's shuttle.

I think it would really depend on what was available. At times in the history of Earth That Was, soap -- if available at all -- was all home-brewed stuff that was better than nothing at all, but that's about it.

Why do you think folks used to wear those curly, powdered wigs...? To cover hair that hadn't seen anything resembling soap in a pretty long time.

Maybe if food supplements are a treasure to fight and kill over, soap could be along the same lines...?
