I came to this series late due to the glowing recommendations from all my many friends. I have the last 4 episodes of the series to complete watching on DVD...but in between each episode, I keep repeatedly asking myself, what stupid things I must have been doing in 2002 to have missed this show...

This is my favorite television show, it has within it my favorite science fiction characters...and without going into what other shows might constitute my Top 10 list, all I can say is that the fact that this show is my absolute favorite says so much about its content.

Here's to hoping they make a 2nd movie.

there are tons of shows that wash out in the first season. it's just that FOX really didn't know what they had and basically set this one up to fail by not marketing it properly.

You did nothing stupid. Fox did a poor job promoting this show and preemtted it a couple of times. This is not good for a show just starting out.

You found the DVD's. That is good. The people here are trying to find ways to presuade FOX to sell the rights to a network that will give it a chance or create another movie.

I can tell you exactly what I was doing when the show first aired, playing high school football because it was a FRIDAY night and no one was at home.

Yep, the good old Friday night death slot. But I'm not going to start kicking that dead horse again.
