Sorry to bother you all with this but it's a horribly foggy day here in Kent (UK) and I always become concerned when that happens because there is always a bad car crash :(
Where I live it is out in the countryside and the roads are narrow and twisty and I swear people need training to drive on these kinds of roads.

Cars these days feel so secure when you're inside that you are unaware of the real hazard on the road because you can barely 'feel' the surface as you drive. Drivers become complacent and they think you can still charge around and your abs and fancy four wheels are gonna save you... I just wish folks would slow down for such weather....

I just heard a bunch of sirens race past my studio here and that usualy means there's been an accident. At the end of the day I'll always be able to tell too, because there will be a gap in the hedges or a spread of debris over the roads....

and it's always a bad one when the air ambulance are trying to land nearby - and I can see then circle around now....

:(

Take care out there y'all.

I know you will be careful, there isn't much else you can do. I hope the accident wasn't bad and no one got hurt, my Father was killed in a car crash and I fear them daily. The sounds of the sirens is chilling, you know something bad has happened. I'm sorry I don't have any info that will help, you could pray, if you "believe" or just think clearing type thoughts. Here in Denver, we got a BIG snow storm coming,...I'd rather deal with snow than fog.
Good Luck!

Thanks Fillygirl:

Sorry to hear about your news too. I do hope I didn't open any wounds ... I

I've lost friends in car crashes and my brother came very close to losing his life in an accident so I suppose it resonates in me. It's those sirens I guess.....

I wasn't trying to be sombre but it just sparked a concern given our weather at the mo.....

Cheers again.

That's what we had yesterday too. Today though it's also a freezing fog - which is plain nuts

Lets hope it passes

Cheers

TRAVELER

Hello Zzetta13:

I am sure this thread originally did say "FROG".

I remember scratching my head when I first saw it.
