All that about the 76th Independent Battalion is good stuff, but what about those of us whose inclinations are less military? Do we need some other groups?

Interplanetary Companions' Guild?
The Alliance Medical Association?
The Church of the Shepherd?
Institute of Spaceship Engineering?
The League of Psychic Nutcases?
Grenadeoholics Anonymous?
Federation of Former Fry Cooks Local 48?

I'd probably fit in best with the engineers, even though I'm really more a software type...

Sign me up for that one. I'll just sit in the back and not make trouble. Honest you'll almost never notice me in the back. If I start talking to much just tell me to be terse. I can be terse.

Well, the 76th seems to be people wanting to march in a parade. So, the military thing fits.

Since you are non-military inclined (btw, I am as well), what do you want to accomplish? Once that is figured out, then the name should fall into place more readily.

What about Gosling Jugglers Anonymous?

Mal gives control of the ship to Zoe...
Mal: If I'm not back in an hour, you come, and you rescue me.
Zoe: What? And risk my ship?

I'm seeing a lot of support for The League Of Psychic Nutcases. Am I alone in thinking someone should set us up an official organisation?? That would be sweet!
