I can't imagine someone actually grabbing his butt at the thing. That said, I understand the desire (I've got a crush of my very own a-brewing), just not the actual grabbing. Poor Nathan! It was nice of him though to stay on and not take it out on everyone else, though I can say I wouldn't blame him a bit if he had left early over that.

JWHEDONADDICT

The Flanvention that got cancelled at the last minute (I didn't go) and some cast members showed up anyway. Apparently someone(s) got drunk and carried away and pinched or grabbed his butt or something. He mentions it in his blog on his MySpace page.

It could explain a picture of him I've seen where he does NOT look thrilled to be there, although apparently he didn't necessarily act that way with fans.

It was an isolated incident, Spacegirl and most of us were shocked and appalled. Rumor has it that the offending female actually bragged about it and her husband laughed while she giggled. I have no idea who it was and I'm not sure anyone saw it clearly enough TO DO anything about it. I'm so sorry it happened to him though.

He was beyond wonderful to come out to B3, sacrifice his time, be our Captain and be so kind to all of us. Then to be treated like that was horrible.

I have no idea if anyone's apologized. Heavens I hope so!!

Thanks for you reply. One of the reasons I joined the boards & became a Browncoat is due to the intelligence & politeness of the fans. I just recently saw the documentary, 'Done the Impossible' and fell in love with the Browncoats who made the movie possible. What an awesome group!

Ugh! That crazy gal did that in front of her husband? Poor Nathan!

Like the rest of you, I can support our BDH by purchasing DVDs as gifts for everyone I know.

Also you can see if your libraries have Firefly and Serenity. Sometimes all it takes is filling out a purchase request form...sometimes it takes a donation of the DVDs.
