It can't be legal by any sense, but you can go here: http://www.tv-links.co.uk/Firefly_links.html and watch Firefly/Serenity on-line! They also have a bunch of different shows like Torchwood, classic Doctor Who, BSG, etc. if you go here: http://www.tv-links.co.uk/index.html

It's kind of fun to just click on a link, and BOOM! There's the BDS on screen from any where!

That's how I caught up with Heroes and Slither. Broke as I am, it's the only way for me to see some of these things.

Ya know...I got a mixed bag o' feelings about this. Finally can watch Torchwood like my relatives can/could if they wanted to, along with other programs...but Firefly needs the $$$ to help get it back in business, like Shameless noted. That and it flaunts the loophole in international copyright that allows for access to products from other countries as long as said product doesn't have a NA distributor at the time of purchase

Yeah. It's odd that I have such a strong feeling of "NOOOOO" about this, when I'm kinda "meh" about the BitTorrent thing. Maybe because this thing is much easier to access? ::shrugs:: Many people might be too lazy to do bittorrent stuff, but are perfectly willing to do a click-and-watch thing. Like me.

How depressing and revealing that of this list of TV shows, available immediately and at no charge, there's hardly any worth watching?

Meh. I like anime, so it's worthwhile to me.

And on a note of serendipity:

I went to the link and spotted a show that my oldest, when she was young, used to watch all the time. So I'm introducing it to her baby sister (now 7), and I scanned through a few of them, just out of nostalgia ("Oh yeah--I remember THAT one!")

Check this out: click on the link above, go to the show called Are You Afraid of the Dark? Go to the second season, and open "The Tale of Watchers Woods". Watch for four or five minutes (get past the intro into the story itself).

Recognize anyone?

Well, I had only vaguely heard about Firefly (via radio spots) when it first aired, but when the Serenity trailer hit the Net in April '05, I did some research and found this site...
http://versaphile.com/download/firefly.html

It wasn't long before I was rushing out to get the DVDs!

They got some classics on there.

At least its easier to spread the love and convince people to buy the DVDs.

Note: OMG they got Earthworm Jim. XD
Another Note: Ergo Proxy. Awesome. Watch it.

The links don't work anymore. How very lame.
I was hoping this would be a really good way to spead the word. :(

Hmmmm, I just tried both links, and they work perfectly. Try them again, perhaps the site was down or something.

I have not read every response so I'm not sure if this site been mentioned but you can also watch firefly here (just be aware that the numbers are out of order, and episode 1 and 5 are missing or don't work):
http://www.guba.com/user/bennyboy371

As far as the show being online I think its a good thing because I never would have seen it otherwise and I now plan to buy it and the movie.

another good site for online tv is alluc.org
