Ok, I'm watching the Serenity commentary for the first time (I got the DVD and Official Firefly Companion a week ago, squee!), and Joss mentions a Star Wars burrito incident. Huh?
And I can't find anything on google about it! Help! What is this that he's referring to?

------------------------------------------
RPG launcher bought in third world country illegally - $10
Landmines - $50 per
Attack/track dogs bred 1st class - $250-500 per
Highpowered assault rifles - $600 per
The look on your face when I show up on your doorstep with a bigfoot - ... Priceless

That's cool that they had Burritos in that Galaxy far far away. I don't remember seeing a whole lot of mexicans in those movies.... at least I don't recall any Storm Troopers wearing sombreros, riding donkeys and drinking tequila.

Though, they sure did shoot like they were pretty drunk off the stuff.

I *think* it refers to the changes in the 'Han shot first' thing, how in the original it appears he shoots Greedo first and in the remastered it shows an extra nanosecond that makes it more obvious that Greedo first and it annoyed fans.

From Wiki: "The controversy over who shot first, Greedo or Han Solo, in Episode IV, what I did was try to clean up the confusion, but obviously it upset people because they wanted Solo to be a cold-blooded killer, but he actually isn’t. It had been done in all close-ups and it was confusing about who did what to whom. I put a little wider shot in there that made it clear that Greedo is the one who shot first, but everyone wanted to think that Han shot first, because they wanted to think that he actually just gunned him down."

Can't remember exactly which bit Joss was referring to - I'll have to watch Serenity with commentary again to figure it out. Was it something about Mal being made more of an anti-hero or somesuch between Firefly and Serenity?

Sorry, I have no idea. Just taking a WAG that maybe someone misheard something ?

After asking my husband he says what I also heard as 'Burrito Incident' was 'Greedo incident'. I wondered why he was so ridiculously informed about something I'd never heard of!

Yeah watching a movie while hungry can cause all sorts of confusion.
