I know this has no real significance to Firefly excpet that the Yankees are known as the "Evil Emipre" (alliance) and wear blue batting gloves. Not really sure about the blue gloves, but I bet they would.

GO SOX!

CAPTBAGGYTROUSERS

I live in the Boston area.

Drunks flipping cars over.

Scum in the ugliest stretch limos known to man reaching out and grabbing you as they go by.

Traffic, noise, and the entire city turned into a rowdy thug.

Don't talk to me about the red sox.

History repeats the old conceits

This sort of thing is why Utah will never have a major leage baseball team.

Don't squat with your spurs on.

Besides the Sox lost, and the credit goes to Joe Torre. He made all the right moves, even demoting Giambi to No. 7 in the batting order and going three innings with his closer. Very Reynolds like moves (IMHO).

"and the credit goes to Joe Torre. He made all the right moves"
-Actually he just didn't screw up but sometimes that is the right move. Not very Reynolds like at all.

Just as the War Against Drugs would make some kind of sense if they honestly called it a War Against Some Drugs, I regard Dubya's current Kampf as a War Against Some Terrorists. I may remain wed to that horrid heresy until he bombs CIA headquarters in Langtry. - RAW

Well, It's too late to hope the Red Sox win. So, let's hope the Yankees lose. My wife is from New York, and I don't want to listen to her mouth for the next month about this. If the Yankees win, Frank Sinatra's "New York, New York" will rattle the walls of my house.

Fox sucks! Viva Firefly!

I blame Little more than crediting anything NY did. Keeping Pedro in for that long especially with the whole bull pen to turn to was just idiotic.

Hey, I'm just fitting the thread into the board's theme.
