Actually... I do!

When I was reading Michael Crichton's novel "Timeline" after it first came out in hardback, I'd get kinda excited whenever Professor Edward Johnston would say something to his assistant, Chris Hughes: "Chris," Johnston said.

Closest I'd ever come to seeing my own name in a story!

Then, the screenwriter for the movie version decided to change the character from the Professor's assistant to his son!

Behold!

Entirely too cool!
(Except the movie sucked ass.)

Sorry to steal your sunshine, JQ. So do I.

That's me on the left, on a modeling job with a friend of mine.

And here I am, safely stored in the box I live in when I'm not at "work" posting on fff.net.

It would be unseemly to have a King besoil himself in battle. Especially one one lives to comfort his subjects. Plush is most appropriate, sire.

Thanks, LA. I'm really not that pretty. I just photograph well!

Kinda surprised though. I thought Berkeley wasn't into licensing and such.

Barren wilderness. Just can't bring myself to comment on this one. It's too easy and you're too nice. (Or is it you're too easy and it's too nice?) "I don't have a figure"? Yes, you do! !

Anyway, I found you a game to play instead over on the Forsaken thread...

Well, compared to the book, it was.
So much more cool detail in the book.
Like the cool earpieces they had that were both communicator and translator.
They actually needed translation for English!
My favorite Crichton story!

But, my story was kinda cool, wudnit?
I mean, the word "yourself" was in the thread title.
I kinda took it literally.

Oh compared to the book. I thought you meant compared to other movies. 'Cause, you know, there was Frances O'Connor and Anna Friel. Jus' sayin'...

What did you think of the treatment of "Congo"?

Don't remember much about it, aside from them shooting flare guns out the door of the plane to evade the heat-seekers.
That was kinda cool.
