No matter if you are or aren't MSG. I think the board was just playin' with ya. That's enough to make a person a little on the nutty side. I know we have new folks in, but what about some of the old. I saw that one of my Myspace friends had their profile deleted yesterday and it disturbed me a bit. More so 'cause I can't figure out who it was.

Tattoo: I'd have a hydra on one arm or the other, and the words "Nul Potentia in Universitas possum demorirum ipsum"
The hydra was the one creature that even Hercules couldn't kill; he had to trap it under a bigass rock for all eternity. I'd use it because, like the hydra, I seem to be unkillable. Eh, it'll just be all the more ironic when I finally croak. The words are familiar to any browncoats out there: They mean "No Power in the 'Verse can Stop Me" in Latin.

Link to the internal questions and obsrvations of Jimi.

Seeing someone struggle with the though of love or lack thereof always bothered me. Mostly because I get down on my whole line of situations and...
As for the guilt for not still being in love with her, that happens. The good thing is that you still love her and recognize that y'all need to be friends for your chidrens sake. I'm sure you both have seen the consequences of your children witnessing the conflict and wish not to keep putting them through it anymore.
It seems the idea of "the move" might put you both back in a place where the trouble started. If you do feel the need to be together with her, make it obvious. Tell her that you feel the need to have her as a friend first and foremost.
There is an obvious rift in information, but the idea is pretty well defined. Just be careful and take your time. Make sure that honest conversation doesn't turn into a heated discussion. The truth hurts but taking the roundabout way leaves way too many opening to be expolited. I'm glad you're watching out for everyone involved.
Question: Do you recognize what triggers the selfish/abusive feelings? Sometimes a person will invoke those feelings in another to be sure they are loved. If you feel abusive and recognize that she seems to play into the victim role chances are you both need help. It is very obvious that you recognize your feelings but does she? My concern is that even if you get help, she might not. If that happens she may end up in another situation with someone who cannot recognize their own actions as being negative. Cycles are only broken when all people involved are made aware of their role in the cycle.
Just some thoughts. I work with folks on all sides of the fence of the family dynamic. I wish more people could open themselves to others and ask for help.
Thank you for having that courage Jimi.

mornin' Hobbleit. sucks about the early waking (that's when I get up most days, 5:15 am or so).

Odds - I don't know if you have heard of it, but there is a new FX original series starring Eddie called 'The Riches'. The pilot was on this week, and I thought it was fantastic!

Not sure how things work with y'all, but you might be able to find it online for downloading.

Sorry MSG, five different conversations.
1. I don't know TD and it seems she fits quite well in the scheme of the board/thread. Just makin' sure its okay to be my usual cheeky self.
2.As for the truck thing. Chicks in trucks. I don't know why. They just get me going.Especially if its her truck, her dog riding with her, her shotgun in the gunrack, and her trailer pulling her horses/motorcycle/hot rod. Whoa, gotta calm down a bit.
3. You mentioned MisterG and his school girl-esque leanings. I've never really profiled the women I've been attracted to, but notice that my various leanings seem to have certain consequences.

Dark haired, fair skinned, dusky women seem to offer emotional distance and deeply rooted feelings of lust.
Red heads were always the fun time, full of energy sort who always wanted to just have fun but little else.
Strangely its the blondes that always offered a holistic approach to an actual relationship. Kinda sucks 'cause I never really found an attraction to blondes, but that seems to have changed lately.

Now I'm not saying that this is how all women are. I'm just saying that this has been my experiance (Kinda the whole Ford, Dodge, Chevy thing). I think it may be the personalities that have been attracted to me just happened to have physical similarities. Been workin' on experiancing personalities rather than using prejudice from the starting line.

Hmmm that's interesting NV. I am intrigued by how you defined several types:)
Usually ( well based on research) guys have an attraction to a defined visual type ( not saying they can't be attracted to others or even have great relationships with ones not of their type) Not a deep interest, just that instant WOW factor.
Same with women. Though this is nothing like MisterG I will admit my instant attraction is tall, blond, blue eyed, and rough featured ( think Daniel Craig or Sean Bean) and about 10-12 years older than me. That's the visual type that draws my eye and creates that instant "drool" sensation. Also that same feeling can be turned on be a specific stance or attitude ( kind of spoiling for a fight, yet fun and open...think Jayne)

Like I said, it was my experience with certain types that formed the prejudice. Sometimes I accidentally resort back to those prejudices and wind up changing my mind later about that person. I guess its just a stupid defense mechanism.

And WOW. I cannot convey my jealousy toward MisterG right now. I hope my SO can describe me like that some day.

Luck bastard.

Oh sure taunt me Mav...
NV- I think you have what may be termed as the wrong end of the stick. MisterG is nothing like that description ( which is how I know that what instantly attracts you is not always what you fall in love with) MisterG is tall, but he has dark curly hair, brown eyes and such:)

oh and Mav... I hope you understand, if you ever die ( which would be awful and horrible and will hopefully never happen) I shall be on the next plane to DC:)
