Firefly Comic?

Just a thought. What if Firefly was done as a comic or graphic novel series? I'm sure Marvel or DC would jump at the chance. I'd buy and read them. It gives a little more freedom for development, and then when the next series or movie they can either base them off of the comics/novels, do a continuation, or what the hell, just do something completely different.

Well, there was a comic, set before the events of the movie. It was three issues. And there's another three-issue series coming this fall. Both are from Dark Horse.
