You couldn't pay me to attend a Creation convention.

I hope the Browncoats choose Starfury or the Browncoat Cruise over this clearly infuriating move by Creation to 'squash' any and all competition.

Weren't these the same people who screwed the Browncoats at that convention in California? If they are they have a lot of nerve to try this again.

Um, no. That was Booster Entertainment, and they don't even exist anymore and are in the midst of Chapter 7 bankruptcy proceedings.

i am not familiar with Creation's history with Firefly, but I have been to several Creation cons in the past and they have always been awesome!I hope Booster's actions have not burned Firefly fans on doing Firefly cons. Creation has been doing cons for years and years and, in my opinion, know how to do it right, although they can get a little expensive. I am aware that some folks have negative to say about them, but I have nothing but praise. I'll be in Burbank for Firefly in November.

Firefly fans just like to get together..lol.. I don't think Booster's Frak up will affect future cons.. so long as they happen as promised etc.

The big issue here is that Starfury has an LA Firefly con planned right around the same time.. and then there is the cruise.. only got so much cashey money to go around....

I have been to one Creation con.. took my niece to the BSG one last year. Found it well run and great fun (tho it was small.. and I liked that)..

some feel creation (which is more a business than a fan thing) is too slick... but some fan things are not slick/organized enough.. it is a conundrum...

I wish that Creation and Starfury could combine, as I hate to see anyone who tries to serve the 'verse lose out. But I know that ain't gonna happen...

I would go to any Firefly convention held in Chicago. I went to the Fangoria convention last year because Nathan was there.

I've been attending Creation Conventions for over 10 years and yes they have changed, but so has Sci-Fi and fans as well. I don't buy Creations merchandise when I attend, but it's nice to see and hear what the Stars have to say. Meeting other fans as well and doing some costuming is another reason for me to go. It's fun for me....

Yippee, I just noticed that Morena is going to be at the Stargate Creation Convention, August 24-26th.

I'll be there.
