Hey, thanks VE. Sadly, my Fiestaware isn't really Fiestaware. It's Wal-Martware in "fiestaware" colors. I got it around 8 years ago and I don't think the colors will match...and I know the actual shapes/details don't match. But, if I get desparate, I know where to go.

RIMG- hmm I'd have said don't tell him, but it's going to become something where you'd have to. I'd just remind her that you support her and that other people's opinions don't matter.

I just caved in and sent my TA for an iced mocha...I'm dying here:)

I concur wholeheartedly with MsG. She needs to know where you stand. It'll go a long way.

And MsG, I can't wait to see NCIS tonight, either! Gibbs!

Congrats, Hobbleit!!!

Thanks again ladies.

He found out when talking to my sister-in-law this weekend, whom I did not tell to not tell anyone. He's just being a dad, and himself, so it's no worries. What I didn't need was her going off on me today based solely on what he said.

Speaking of my sister-in-law, I had been waiting to find out whether I'd be an aunt or an uncle. Come September there will be the first Spettel girl born to my immediate family. :)

What is that supposed to mean?

You are absolutely right that innuendo and implied meaning are tough to read in the Internet. Please be assured, Mavourneen, that if something that I ever type about you can be taken two (or more) ways that the intent is that the comment be taken in a kind way. And if it is a little bit of a poke toward you, it is only done in jest. I like the people here in these threads.

That goes for you PR. And DTH, RIMG, HK, MSG. And others. People that I really like hearing from in these threads.

A girl like you? Lovely. Kind. Considerate. You brighten the threads.

I turn to the imponderable thread as a momentary mental break from work. I always enjoy your posts, Penguin's graphics, HK's bursts of activity, and MSG's Oracle-like wisdom. Take me to task if anything that I post ever bothers you (anybody). Very likely my mistake in making myself clear. I apologize for anything that hasn't been clear and may have been taken in the wrong way.

Way to go, Hobbleit.

RIMG, I haven't been here at FFF.net for awhile. It sounds like a lot is going on. You know you are on the top of my list. If you need anything, let us know. BIG hugs.

I suppose since you really can't get one for yourself that's ok. Otherwise I'd think it would be totally demeaning to really get someone else coffee for your job.

And yet, women are expected to do it all the time.

Okay, okay...to be fair...admin assts, formerly known as secretaries...are expected too. Furthermore, those assts can be male or female, although I think the position is usually filled by women.

I told my boss when I started working for him that I wouldn't be getting his coffee (or ice water), etc. He liked my boldness.
