TENTHCREWMEMBER

Could you please just make it stranger? Stranger. Odder. Could be weirder. More bizarre. How about uncanny?

Here is the final version of my patch for the Southern Ohio Browncoats (bka SOBs). I have had several made into actual patches as you see here.

If there is anyone who wishes to trade patches, and you'll be at D*C, I will have some with me. I will also sell patches (cost is $5) if folks don't have their own to trade but primarily I am looking to collect other Browncoat patches from around the 'verse.

If you'd like to buy one directly, or trade by snail mail, email me at
tenthcrewmember(at)gmail(dot)com
and we can make arrangements.

DETAILS:
The patches are 100% embroidered and have iron-on backing. Roughly 3"W x 2.75"H

The design is obviously influenced by the one Mal and company wore in the pilot episode, hence the color scheme and inverted triangle (though Mal wore his, umm, verted). The Flying Pig is a traditional symbol of Cincinnati, once nicknamed "Porkopolis" for all the pork processing in the 1800's and early 1900's. The star on its hindquarters is a nod to the star of the original patch. The outer border was my way of bringing in the full name without cluttering up the patch, and also sits Ohio right above Cincinnati nicely. As for our "division", well, it is kind of obvious isn't it?

Oh, I have roughly a dozen to sell/trade outside of what I intend to bring to Dragon*Con.
