Howdy all!

Been a crazy week so far and its only half over. Man an I tired. But lots of OT on the next check!

RIMG - There seems to be a problem with the beers you sent. They are all empty

Laurelin says that anytime you want you can send another order of the first batch you sent and that Breakfast Brew in this one. Wow 2 beers that the wifey likes. Man you are good at this!

I do have to admit that the Breakfast brew was my favorite as well. I did like the bite in the 76th brew too but man was that Breakfast brew tasty!

Laurelin doesn't like most beer because most beer is icky and smells/tastes vaguely of throw up

Glad you liked the brews. I have kept recipes and notes on every batch I have made, so they can be re-created if necessary (and it sounds like it will be necessary).

Be sure to keep the bottles and offer them to a local homebrewer, if'n you know any.

I really liked the Irish Red too, it seems to be the most popular one I have made so far.

Maybe I'll just send you a keg of it for your anniversary or something.

The bite in the 76th brew was from the molasses, which I am changing out this time for honey. Changing the malt and the brew process a little as well, I hope that the end product is just as or even more drinkable.

EDIT:

You just haven't had any good (read: made by me) beer yet.

See not if made correctly. The mass produced domestics and most imports to the US are pretty slim on actual quality ingredients and proper brewing. They make it too fast and cheapest that they can. The flavor quality suffers because of it.

Most of teh time when I am looking for a good beer I buy micro-brews. I found a Raspberry Lager once taht was great. Of course these companies tend to dissappear overnight and I can't find it anymore

One of my main goals when I hit it big (or get sick of electrical engineering), aside from building my own Firefly-class home and getting lots of shiny people to DragonCon, is to open a microbrewery/brewpub. I would love to get paid to make beer. :)

Ain't no problem with soldering, it's the damn paperwork and design reviews and so forth that make it not fun. I'd love to just solder all day. :)

*snicker* Sure! I've got a great stew recipe that takes about an hour

All this talk of taste in beer, as though the alchohol doesn't knock out any other tastes it may or may not have. You people are weird...

Now whiskey, that's another story.

Going home now, talk to y'all from there (enjoy the pics I posted of my boys in the meantime).

If you say so. I've heard the same story about wine and schnops. My taste buds say different.

I adore wine sauce. When the alkie is cooked out it really is divine.

I think that would get a ten on my 'very likely' scale.

Okay, so why is it that the numbers I'm calling for catering places seem to be going to private homes, and the only people to show interest in interviewing me today turned out to be a fanatical right-wing Christian TV production company?

I worked at a catering company a couple of summers ago, it wasn't that bad.

Okay, I LOVED it, but that's only because I love to cook.
