Check the timestamps, Jimi. I was trying to pounce, I'm not blind, I saw the new thread request, it's not my fault I'm on dial up and by the time it decided to load for me I missed my chance. Don't patronize me, I'm too cranky with hormones to have anything resembling good grace.

Paypal instructions are as follows for anyone who wishes to contribute to Magda's laptop:
Go to paypal.com and click 'send money'. You can find people to send to by phone number or email. My email is browncoatrose at yahoo dot com. From what I understand, it would be best if you have a verified paypal account and can transfer funds straight out of your own bank account, since too many credit cards will force me into upgrading. I'm sure that'll happen anyway, but I'm trying to put it off. If you don't want to get a paypal verified account, that's okay too.

I noticed. Thought it was adorable. ^__^
The second character is "shui" (though, I may have the pinyin spelling wrong) and is the word for "water." I think it's kinda sorta needed to emphasize the first character and give it meaning, but it certainly doesn't matter here.

Anyway, "Mountain Dew" in Chinese would be written "Mountain Dew," since it's a Registered / Trademarked brand name. XD *geek!*

I went up to the Colorado Cherry Company in the canyon and bought some honeyville strawberry, raspberry, and bumbleberry honey. Also a little cherry honey bear.

Honeyville is whipped honey made from Colorado wildflowers and then (obviously) flavored. It's wonderful. Next time I'm gonna have to try the chocolate, pomegranite, vanilla cream and huckleberry varieties. Sadly they don't have any cinnamon honey, so I have to continue buying that in tiny little honeysticks.

a place in which a colony or colonies of bees are kept, as a stand or shed for beehives or a bee house containing a number of beehives

Though does it strike anyone else as odd that we avoid insects to the point of exterminating them en masse and yet here we are eating what is essentially bee vomit and we pay money for it???

Courts don't usually look at it like that. Issues have gotten things confused these last few years.

In any case, Jimi, we all have our moments. It's not individual instances that define us, it's who we are over time. I am not as great as my finest moments (though I wish I was) and I am not as evil as my worst actions might indicate (thank God. (get that cop car away from me...) The fact that you feel bad indicates that your conscience is still in good working order. Work on the issue(s) that got you to this point and the rest will work itself out. You are there with your boys and for your boys, and trust me as one who grew up without a father handy, that is a hell of a lot. You know what's right and you'll do what's right. Don't let a "lapse" throw you off course. You are always better than you think you are.

It is kind of ironic, MsG, but we don't try to exterminate bees because they're so important. Pollination and all that. Last I checked, we were trying to preserve them. Not just for the tasty honey (I refuse to call it bee vomit; that's gross) but for the continued survival of plant life. It's entirely possible that the American honeybee will end up the first insect on an endangered species list, because they keep dying for various reasons and it's really really bad.

I know there's been much concern...personally I really like bees. They're cute and sweet and reasonably harmless... I've got 4 giant lavender plants and a big patch of mint ( which I keep even though I don't use very much just because the bees love it)
My fav is the bumblebee...it's just so adorable

We have a catmint plant in our backyard and the bumblebees just adore it. They're so bright and pretty, crawling along those little purple flowers. The big ones weigh down the stems; it's funny. I agree they're very sweet.
The only issue I have with bees is that they have the potential to kill my mother, but she's got that planned for so she won't die and has made peace with all the bees drawn to our yard. Wasps still terrify her, though, as they're hardly sweet-tempered.

uh, well, RIMG might not have exactly told y'all everything he has done in the past, especially where Ami is concerned. there has been hitting, and more yelling than I can remember, and loads of mental and verbal abuse and mind games. a lot of it wasn't intended as such, it was me reacting to false perceptions. it has helped me to determine that I am a sadist and a compulsive liar, as I have lied to people for no reason just because. I have a lot of issues, and I am working on them, but every now and again I see the results of my past actions, and it saddens me

Hey you saw a problem and fixed it...that's really brave and great!!! Most people refuse to see how their actions effect others and deny to their deathbed that they did anything wrong...So I am really impressed and proud of you! 'Sides your boys are really young and the good example you are now setting and the fact that, as they get older, you can talk to them about your mistakes and how you overcame them and that will really help them become fantastic people!
By the way...lying has gotten me in deep once too, and I've had to work really hard to never do it again so I'm with you darlin!

You don't need to tell us everything now, if you don't want to. But we're here if you do. I'm "issuing" through a few things myself and I'm not always a model citizen. That past pops up in unusual ways in unusual times and places and can be a real heartbreaker.

But you are working on it. Focus on that. You are trying harder, making an effort, giving it a shot and all of that. Let the bad result inspire you to try even harder. Don't let it suck you down.

Crap. Somebody stop me. Isn't this the blind leading the blind?

What would I do? Well, I'd tell you (at $5.95/min), but then have to kill you, and quickly, before I got killed for telling.

You think you know--what's to come, what you are. You haven't even begun.

I won't pay you $5.95 per minute, but I hope you'll tell me anyway...

Happy me, I found a jar of cinnamon honey. At fracking King Soopers of all places

Now they just need to make mango honey... *drools*

I'm gonna spend all my coin on honey. I will be poor, but I will be happy. At least until I become ill from eating nothing but honey.

Serve? I suppose a few restaruants have honey for tea and stuff, but their honey isn't the good stuff. Check your grocery store, next to the peanut butter and jelly. Get raw honey, it's better.
