I've always heard Portland is the greatest place to live: Now I know it's true!

The McMenamins site alone makes me want to move there!

That's the most beautiful web design I've seen!

Plus, this month's PDX Browncoats shindig is two days prior to the start of this. It's looking to be a semi-big one, so come on by.

To sit in a theater, drink good microbrew and watch Firefly. Portland OR isn't paradise, but it's damn close. Too bad I'm no where close to there. I've been to one of the McMenamins theaters when I was in Portland and they are a class act.

Wishing I was there.

Is the Firefly Kolsch anything like Mudder's Milk?

I'll take it. I'll drink almost anything while watching Firefly let alone a perfect microbrew from the best in the northwest. Hell, I'd almost fly down from Alaska just for this event. McMennamin's -- any McMennamin's -- is my idea of heaven on earth.

Can anyone save me a pint?

I live in Bend, Oregon, about a three hour drive.

I am so there for the July 31st showing. My two favorite episodes!

There's two kinds of people in this world: those with loaded guns, and those who dig.
Now DIG.

Well done, kudos to the clever folk who thought of this.

Kolsch is my favorate and, now that my diet is more restricted, a rate treat. I envy the participants twice over.

Hey, what do you consider a "minor"? I'm over 18, (19) so I just can't drink. Would I still be able to get in when I visit Portland in 2 weeks?

I only just found this at Cort & Fatboy's site (I'd looked earlier at the station's site and didn't see anything)...

Minor in this case means drinking age, which is 21.
