Wow! Soupy Sales and Richard Kiel are both scheduled to appear. Who else thought those guys died, years ago?

I'm not saying this is a suck-fest. After all they've got Morena; SW prequels Aunt Beru, who looks very un-auntish in her promo; and the mechanic chick from BSG (the one who married the enlisted chief, when he got dumped by the Cylon for an officer pilot). But relics like Robt. Vaughn, and some dame who frolicked in the background of an Elvis beach flick, half a light year ago? That's priceless!

Damn, I wish I lived on the Right Coast... It'd be great watching Morena field all those pointed questions about her career from Jersey fanboys, like, "Hey, baby. How you doin'?"

Wonderingly,

P.S.
In what profession -- other than 'performing artist' -- does one get generally mistaken for deceased when one's career hits the skids? I presumed Soupy Sales died at least a decade ago. I thought Richard Kiel ('Jaws' from the Roger Moore 007 movies) had passed away, too. Must be thinking Andre the Giant... And is Abe Vigoda dead yet? I saw a roast for him a couple of years ago, and that was the running gag the whole evening...
(NB: For those not 'in the know'. Abe Vigoda was the old cop, 'Fish', on "Barney Miller", which featured a very young, hip, erudite black detective, portrayed by a much younger Ron Glass.)

BAH! Robert Vaughn is awesome, and still has an active career. He's brilliant on HUSTLE!

That's New York you're thinking of, NOT New Jersey. Please don't get the two confused!

Hey leave poor Abe Vigoda alone, he still makes appearances on Late Night with Conan O'Brien every now and then. They have this bit here he arises out of a tree or something to show the public that he is still alive. It's a riot. They also have a contest for an Abe Vigoda look-a-like and Abe Vigoda always loses. Classic. Plus I am sure Ron may be a little protective of Abe, he said that he enjoyed working on Barney Miller almost as much as Firefly.

Pet peeve.

Yeah I'm a little apprehensive about going...I mean, it's Morena...but I have no one to go with/no place to stay...and she's the only draw. Mayhaps I saw my money for a California con, sigh...
