Well, you know I could, but that would shoot our PG13 thread rating all to hell!

Should have known that you would go to that place!

(Emma, my mind went there, too. There is no better stress relief.)

See now that scares me. When PR and I are on the exact same page there's some weird alignment thing going on in the sky.

That's how shows like Dresden get canceled. And to echo another post, of course it got canceled; it was too good a show to be seen.

We need more drivel.

I also share your foots pains, Rose. Swollen, throbbing, red and sadly unpleasant. Sending hugs. Remember what I told you: it's not a forever thing. Okay you can tell me to F*** myself now. (Hugs anyway)

I'll try not to bubble too much. I'm feeling pretty good this evening. Sorry to hear that the official word came out about Dresden. Well, StinkingRose, atleast you set up shop for those that need a foot massage. Way to go.

PHOENIXROSE

You think you know--what's to come, what you are. You haven't even begun.

Course you're in a good mood, VeX; you've been in Australia! I imagine that I would be feeling pretty good if I'd just been there, too. Though for different reasons... *ahem*

Speaking of drivel, I think I would kick serious ass at 'Don't Forget the Lyrics'. Who thinks I should audition? Even if I only got up to 50 grand, I could stop working and focus on school, and take some trips as well. Assuming, you know, I could make it to LA and they didn't hit me with the genres I barely know. I know it's F*X, but I would take great pleasure taking their money

I'm babbling. I've been reading and trying to ease my foot pain and now it's time for bed. Another early morning shift tomorrow. I feel like all my energy has been sucked out by the boxes of cigarettes behind the counter, and only mildly replaced with Bawls. Never thought I'd say that! But it's true. I can barely drag myself into Haven and this place, let alone do anything else. Eurgh.

Human beings, who are almost unique in having the ability to learn from the experience of others, are also remarkable for their apparent disinclination to do so.

So very true. I hate to rub it in, but I had a BLAST with Magda. Of course you would definitely have other cities (and people) to visit.

I totally think you should audition. You would be GREAT! Taking money from F*X would be a delightful advantage of winning.

You could always cut me in half and count the rings!

Okay, I'll fess up, I'm 29. Not too unhappy about it either, as I recently crossed off a biggy from my 'Things to do before I'm 30' list.

What things are/ were on other people's lists? Lets compare notes!

As long as that thing from the list wasn't "Turn 29"

Minty mudslide (making this up on the spot):

Equal parts Absolut Vanilla, Bailey's Mint Chocolate Irish Cream, and French Vanilla Kahlua (yes, it's decadent, but guay, it's your birthday), added to a blender with mint chocolate chip ice cream and a splash of milk. Blend, then pour into a chilled glass with swirly designs made with chocoalte syrup on the inside of the glass (it'll look a bit like a grasshopper, but taste loads better).

Come to think of it, I could go for one of those myownself.

Why does everyone but me have a list??
Was there some class I missed in high school or something? I have no list. I just sort of go wherever life takes me and enjoy the ride...I should get a list

Ok My list of things to do before I'm 36
1- stay out dancing until 3 am
2- get my breast reduction surgery
3- learn to do something with my hair that doesn't involve a pony tail or barrett
4- get a Serenity sequel
5- take MisterG to England
6- go on a cruise
7- learn to speak at least enough Spanish to know what the heck my students are saying ( I only know swear words at this point)
8- finish losing all the weight I put on trying to get pregnant
9- take ballroom dancing with MisterG

I don't really have a timeline, and my list doesn't include all that much:

I want to learn to speak/read/write/cook the following languages/cultures:
-----Greek
-----German
-----Dutch
-----Egyptian
-----Navajo
-----Roman
-----Hawaiian
-----Italian
-----Norweigan
-----Arabic
-----Gaelic

Also,

I want to synthesize lysergic acid diethylamide sometime in my lifetime.

There are some other things, though I forget them at times. Those are the ones I have written down.

Well I never really had a formal list, just some things I really wanted to achieve before I was no longer a twenty something!

I had this idea that when you're in your thirties you're supposed to start behaving like an adult!

lol, I always believed life was too complex for long term planning so never bothered with such lists, plus my stuff is all too chancy (record or book deal etc).

Currently my vague aims are meerely get my book done by Christmas as it has been hanging round too long, get started on the OU physics course I want to do, move to a house with an internal staircase and a garden with two years.
