RUGBUG

Ah man, you guys made me smile REAL big. I've been wanting to check in, but haven't been able to for quite some time. Just got on at the gym after working out. :D

I've been insanely busy at work...and found out they are massively monitoring us. I don't think it's to 'keystroke' level, but they've outsourced the tech stuff and big brother is now watching. It sucks because before it was a 'get your job done and do it well, other than that, we don't care' situation. Not anymore. Grrrr.

How is everyone? Not going to name names because I know I will leave someone out, but D*C-ers and not D*C-ers? What's the haps? I've misssed, missed, missed every single one of you.

Reading this thread brought the following to mind:

1. Awesome first post, NV.
2. Date for as long as you want, but if you don't think you want to marry the other person within the first year, you probably will never want to marry them. Time isn't necessarily going to change that.
3. Why get engaged if you're not going to get married anytime in the near future?
4. Not all states recognize common law marriages. Actually more don't than do.(CA doesn't.)
5. Corgis, of the Pembroke variety, are the coolest little dogs out there. Big dog -tude, little dog body...and droppings. ;D
6. Fear is a part of any romantic relationship. Falling in and out of love is one of the scariest things there is, IMO. If you don't embrace the fear, you'll never fall.

Now I've got to run to my house-sitting gig. I'm sure the pups are getting lonely and the donkies hungry.

Bye, sweets. Hope to come back in a shorter time frame next time.

I will speak for myself, AND I will take the bold step of speaking for others and say that we are all very, very glad that you checked in and are doing OK (if not busy and monitored).

You know what the first rule of flyin' is? Love. You can learn all the math in the 'verse, but you take a boat in the air that you don't love, she'll shake you off just as sure as the turning of worlds. And love keeps her in the air when she oughtta fall down… tells ya she's hurtin' 'fore she keels… makes her a home.

With all the in and outs lately everyone has been looking for those who get to chech in less and less.

Thanks for the props on the start of the thread. Seems lacking the ability to make D*C did it to me (and others).

Glad to see ya drop in 'Bug!

Yay Rugbug lives. Though that's pretty bad news about your big brother issue. It means we're going to see lots less of you. So many of our regulars are being chased off.

We need to do some recruiting of new members. Not that I have any idea how to do that.

Allright folks I'm all sorts of jacked up on Sailor Jerry and mixed feelings (Mindy dropped by to get "Her" prescrption pills from my mother and failed to be cordial to me) so I'm all sorts of Neopolitan on the issue.

In the spirit of all that is just in the 'verse I am moving on and looking for the one who can keep the spirt of me moving forward.

New members not needed, but they are more than well accepted.

Old members: we must move on. Pondering is our place.

I'm trying to ponder what I was thinking starting a huge free poker tournament online at 12:30am. It started with 8698 players and we're down to 141 at 3:43am. What am I playing this thing for?

I don't even think I can play in the game it would earn me entry into if I get far enough. I should probably just go to sleep but it's like a challenge now. grrr

My Conglomo produces a report that once a month is forwarded to your supervisor outlining the time spent on the Internet, and the sites visited!!! Lord forbid you google something and leave the browser open.
Many, many people have complained - and I think TPTB may rescind this level of Big Brotherism. I had to explain to my new boss why he was going to see this site and serenitymovie.org on my list...which led to a long Browncoat discussion, as he had seen my Firefly/Browncoat license plate holder on my car!

Hope to see you back here soon.
