Is it just me, or is anyone else bothered by the size of the Reaver skiff at the beginning of the BDM? When we first see it turning the corner in the street behind the hover-mule, it seems to be really small - not much bigger than the mule - but when we see it afterwards it seems an awful lot bigger....

ha, yeah, that occured to me the first time i saw it... you're right, when it turns the corner it not only seems the same size (possibly a little smaller) than the mule but it's also going so fast it seems like it would have smashed into the back of the mule within a couple of seconds.... every time it cuts it's going hell-for-leather but never seems to reach the mule until it bumps it a bit early in the chase...

it's a shame the skiff is all CG, too, cause it just never looks right in the composited scene, against the real mule... but that's budgets for you, i suppose...

ah well...

Actually, I don't think it is all CGI - I'm fairly sure I've seen pictures of it mounted on a car/trailer in the visual companion.

Yes, there was a practical mock-up of the Reaver skiff for various close-ups.
Looks like it was mounted on a VW Beetle (old rear-mounted, air-cooled engine) chassis/pan.
