This has probably been mentioned before, but I watched "knocked up" on DVD and it has a preview for White Noise 2 and Nathan plays the lead role in it. Should be interesting to see him play in a horror role. Looks pretty intense.....

......I brought the Grenades.

even with Nathan and Katie Sackoff (starbuck on Galactica) it somehow does not work
((have to say thats my personal opinion-some really liked it)
Release date of the straight to video kept being pushed back--the preview must mean its finally being released

Also, I can kill you with my brain.

It looked pretty good to me.....kind of a full fledged play on the Carol-Anne "Poltergeist" TV theme. Alot of flash and action, hopefully your intuition is not fact. I love the horror genre and Nathan jumpin into it kicks ass. I still want to see the full season (all 6 episodes) of "Drive". I watched it and loved every bit of it....went well being "Bullrun" was on also.

......I brought the Grenades.

I have it on dvd and to be honest, it's not that good. Even Nathan Fillion couldn't save that movie.

I thought it was pretty good to be a direct to DVD horror release, it was better than the first one which was shown in theaters.

I have to agree that this is not a very good movie and Nathan's performance is.....um....well,not his best work.
He needs a great director to showcase his talents, like Josh and James Gunn.
All I can say is....don't get too excited about this flic, just setting yourself up for disappointment.

SWEET!!!! I HAVE A GROUPIE!!!!! \mm/ I saw Slither and it wasn't bad. HOWEVER COMMA that can't really be considered a dramatic serious style of horror. That was a straight up comedy with gore attached for the hell of it. (Think Killer Klowns) Not a bad movie for what it is....but what it is is not a real good movie. Does that make sense? Overall I thought Nathan played the role well, he made it real and gave credibility to an otherwise stagnant character. Dare I say a sort of innocense of a man in WAY over his head. Plus it had Elizabeth Banks in it, and being I am a SCRUBS fan too....well it was double the pleasure.

......I brought the Grenades.

White Noise 2...yuk. the acting and photography were great. the material reeked. so many good ideas but they just went schplatt!!! if only they'd been developed better. also I saw it on DVD and watched the scenes that were cut...the movie would have made more sense with them left in. the ending made me writhe and groan with discomfort. Just can't watch actors I admire in such scenes. but hey, they gotta eat right? also has anyone seen Water's Edge? there's something about it that just doesn't work for me. and I'm concerned that I liked Daniel Baldwin's character best.

GORRAMNREEVER,

Ah, but did you watch all the extras on the SLiTHER DVD? Nathan is in almost all the extras and the Blood Recipe guy sure loves his job.

"I'm Bill Pardy." Watch the extras and understand why those who have think this is such a funny sentence.

Yes, lower your expectations on White Noise 2 or White Noise: The Light. It is not Joss and it isn't even James Gunn. I find that a movie can rarely match or exceed our imaginations. See it with low expectations and you may end up loving it or at least liking it.

I haven't seen White Noise: The Light yet. But I will when I can cause Nathan is in it.

Here is my imagination. Universal is holding back the release of White Noise: The Light to theaters in the USA hoping that people notice Nathan from Desperate Housewives or even Waitress if it gets some Oscar nods. The man hasn't even taken his shirt off on the show yet and he has been in training for those desperate housewives.

White Noise: The Light was going to be release in theaters 01/2007. My imagination is that it was pulled back from that date for Drive to affect the landscape. Then well, they were going to release the DVD on Halloween because the SLiTHER DVD did real good on Halloween in 2006. So why did they pull it back again. My imagination is because Desperate Housewives was happening.

Remember hope for more Firefly/Serenity rests with the Serenity Collector's Edition DVD.

Slither has the best Extras. so very funny, even the dirty bits . I'm disappointed they didn't have a James Gunn and co. commentary. It would have been a toe curler.I wanted to use the blood recipe for the kids at work but wasn't allowed to.(curses why did I give up my role as the person in charge!!!)
Um my (admittedly negative) thinking is that Universal held back White noise 2, coz it didn't do that well in the UK where it was on short release. It went straight to rental in Australia. It's not the worst film made, but it is a clunker despite the presence of Nathan Fillion.
