I honestly do not think you can.

Once a Browncoat, always a browncoat. Has there been anybody out there who has thought...hmmm i don't feel like being a browncoat anymore?

Nope, nadda, nothing, the big goose egg.

YOU CAN'T GET RID OF US>.....

So i think the universe should accept this fact and just make us lots more movies, Tv series, books.....whatever because i think were here to stay....

Yeah, when SciFi Scanner posted the news about Joss' new show, the article began with "Good news, Whedon-fans and former Browncoats alike!"

I just had to jump in with a comment...
"What do you mean by "former Browncoats"?
There's no such animal.
Once a Browncoat, ALWAYS a Browncoat!"

The only way I can figure someone to be a former browncoat would be if they had amnesia, and hadn't gotten to see the show again yet.

I could stand to hear a little more.

I know this is probably a bad opinion, and while I totally relate with the idea of being a browncoat, and I will join a browncoat organization, but a part of me would like to be a purple belly so I can be different than the others at conventions and still support the goals of brouncoat fans.

I may have been I slightly quiet Browncoat (only on an internet front , I drive my friends crazy with my firefly noise) but I was a brown coat still, I dont think being a brown coat simply means waering a coat thats kinda brownish, it's a way of life and not a road you can get off!!

they should just give us more films and the likem then we wouldn't need to be so noisey but till then we're gonna shout!

How come things never go smooth

You might be a bit in the minority around here, Rallem. There was a fellow who dressed in an Alliance uniform for B3. He looked great. Funny though, he took part in ALL the browncoaty activities.

Actually, there is. It was when the movie came out and a veteran who was a hardcore Browncoat and supporter ripped the movie apart and.... well I remember it made a lot of ripples around here. I've been trying to find that thread but since a lot of links were lost from the first spamming in 2006 (or was it 2005?) I can't find it. And he wasn't the only one. So to say everyone stays a Browncoat is untrue. Not to say they don't love the Verse and the show, but the movie..... a different wheel of cheese.

If anyone ever finds that thread please post it. I've been wanting to read it for a long time.

I will in all honesty join the local browncoat organization to support the 'Verse in any way I can, and I have absolutely nothing against the Browncoat image other than everyone else is doing it. I am the sort of person who would join a biker oganization and drive a BMW.

Tristan makes shiny browncoats, the best I've seen and affordable.

Here is a thread to follow to see pics and to see how to get hold of him.
