What's goin' on? Seems there is alot of that happening lately. Think it's a sore time for folks. Hope things shore up for the holidays.

And more Sailor huh. I love the stuff but rarely drink it. Had too much last summer and really want to save it for special occasions.

zeph and i were gonna come out there, but he has to go to a wedding with his fiance then, so i have to find someone to go out there with me, if i go.

i didn't get any sailor jerry at con, as i passed out asleep the night that it was mainly consumed before it got to where i was.

Howdy ponderers.

CK - send this woman a note. Encouragement and affirmation is usually welcome from any source. Just a little comment, even from a stranger, can add back some of what that lameass is trying to take away. It's never bad to know you've influenced someone's life in a positive way.

In other news, I'm apparently a lily white-assed pathetic loser because I didn't respond to a guy's e-mails on myspace. That's interesting to me. How did he know my ass is lily white?

Okay folks. Question. As MSB can concur, I have some energy that really needs to be spent. Seems things are so twisty and strange in my part of the 'verse that it is just time to but some shit down. The energy I speak of is the sort burned in battle or bed (or both depending on how you look at it). Even now I can feel the bottom of my heart hardening becoming more calloused and indifferent. What to do when the one that wants you back can only take limited doses...

Side thought: Scoring points and playing games are for children. I don't care to score points on my behalf for a piece of ass. My type is all or nothing, out for blood, fight hard because someday there will be no fight left. Irked because of the games people play with eachother and the benefit of staying out of them.

Random venting. Isn't it great!

Oh, and WTF is up with the sky? I usually look up at night and feel like the stars are close enought to touch. Lately they feel like the voices of people long past recalled in residual memory.

Heheee. And Wheee for jimibear hugs. :D

Guy was a little creepy to start off with. Or maybe not, I just don't understand myspace to understand how he 'found' me. He said he thought I was a relative...but the name he used isn't used ANYWHERE on my space, nor am I a part of any group that uses the name. But it was a name I would know in a different form....all very strange.

Anywho, he deleted me as a friend. He won't be missed though, 'cause all he ever did was muck up my bulletins with slightly off colored jokes.

I really don't get myspace. Maybe because I'm not good at chatting with people I don't know? I have a hard enough time keeping in contact with good friends from high school and college....

Boys night out at the strip club it is. How soon can you be in Austin?

I'm actually not much help on this one. I'm far too content in my day to day life. I never seem to get worked up to that point. It's just sorta the way I've always been. It has its advantages and its disadvantages.

I actually have envied you for a bit Zeek. I can see that you are content in your everyday living. I don't get to make Churros. I get to look at them through glass in the Panadaria wondering how they tast and settle for a piece of soft cake bread and a carne esada burrito that I always buy insted. FUSK THAT!!! I think it's time for carnitas or some albondigas. And I'm getting my churro gorrammit!

ADD: Sorry HK, not my sort of thing. Shadow boxing works up a sweat but doesn't grant the tenderizing or the tingly sensation in your nose like a real sparring match.

As I said it has advantages and disadvantages. The disadvantage is that I don't get off my butt and try to change things that could use improving. Like finding a girlfriend would be a nice upgrade, but I can't be bothered to go through all that hassle. For you there's motivation to get out there and obviously there have been ups and downs to it, but come on who doesn't like riding roller coasters from time to time? The ups and downs are what make it fun.

So, basically envy right back at ya.

they announced it to us saturday night at the shindig. we were all outside for a firefight/smokebreak and niki put the hat made out of a tree on zeph's head and gave him a wooden bowl of guinness. there was dancing, but it was mostly from us shooting niki with airsoft rounds.

they plan to have the wedding on the thursday night of dragoncon.

Shhh, please. All this chatter is distracting me from very important things today.

So I guess congrats are in order for Zeph and Phoebe. Very cool!

'Neko and MSB, I'm not in school and there is the buzz of holiday anticipation around here. We're all having a hard time actually getting anything done. I'm sure tomorrow will be even worse.

In sad news, I think I decided last night that I am going to sell Show. It makes my heart hurt to think about it, but it is looking like it is the best decision for both of us. I haven't fully grasped the ramifications of this decision yet...and I'm not sure I want to. Denial isn't really a bad thing, is it?

I'm also this close *holds up thumb and pointer finger* to selling the Jeep and getting a Yaris. I love the Jeep, but it is SOOOOO incredibly expensive these days. I'm putting $60 of gas in it every 6 days or so...and it only has a 19 gallon tank, so it's not like I'm driving a ton. I could sell the Jeep, get the Yaris AND have money left over (around $5k). It's hard because the Jeep is my dream car. When people do those silly 'if you were a car what type would you be?' games, I would be my Jeep.

God, so many adult decisions at one time. I'm just trying to keep my head down so no other 'be responsible' decisions come up right now. I don't think I could take another. I want to curl up in a ball and be a kid....keep my beloved little pony forever, whether or not I don't always enjoy riding him, and keep the gas guzzler of a car...pocketbook be damned.

I have an TJ Wrangler ('02) before they came out with the Unlimited (extended) and the four door. I think the other two are sort of funny looking...although I think the 4-door is cute enough...but it doesn't look like a Jeep to me.

One thing holding me back with selling the Jeep is that I don't like the newer ones, so purchasing another down the road means getting the new squarer (if that's possible...mine is already quite box-shaped, but with rounded corners) version. Also the fact that Wranglers hold their value REALLY well means that I can't just decide in a year that I don't really like the Yaris and want another Jeep.

It's similar to my thoughts about moving out of California. I could move to another state and probably be better off than I am here...but how do you move back when the cost of living is so much more expensive? My Jeep is the California of cars.

(BTW, I only mean Wrangler when I say Jeep. The other models are just Jeep's answer to the SUV craze. They have the name stamped on them, but they're not really Jeeps. Cherokee = Explorer, 4Runner, Pathfinder. Liberty = Escape, Rav4, etc.

There is only one Jeep.

Well, then. You'll have to hook me up when it's time to come back to Jeep.

I'm going to miss the 'Jeep Wave'. A little Wrangler solidarity, if you will.

As for the PT Cruiser, I rented one when I drove to Fresno for the EqualityNow screening of Serenity. I wasn't impressed. It had a very strange feel...and the blindspots. Oh, my. Plus, the magnets I made (Logo and BDM or BUST!) didn't stick to it. But that could be the fault of the magnetic paper and not the car.

Don't know the song, but do remember School of Fish - 3 Strange Days!

That is a good point. I do tend to make a lot of trips where I haul people and their shit around. Definitely something to think about.

MsB, you think your brother-in-law would make long distance used vehicle sales?

That's a mighty fine lookin' Cherokee.

Yes, the Wrangler is absolutely useless for carrying crap around. I haven't had the back seat in my Jeep for about 4 years. I finally gave up on the 'roll and tumble' option because the seat was always rolled and tumbled. Just took the sucker out and haven't looked back since.

When people ask me if I like my Wrangler b/c they are thinking of getting one, my standard answer is 'You have to really WANT one and you'll love it. Otherwise it has too many limitations.'
