I don't know how many people have beta access to Hulu, but they just posted all the episodes from Firefly as they originally aired. They have the old introductions and the original order.

For those of you without Hulu access I embedded them on Sci Fi Log. http://www.scifilog.com Click on the Action category under Sci Fi Log TV and it is there.

I for one didn't see any of them when they were on so these are pretty cool.

Dude... that is awsome!!! Hopefully it doesn't hurt the DVD sales though... and why would it?? I swear, the amount of times I see stuff (anime mostly) online, and HATE the quality to the point of almost wanting to buy the series... (I don't know why but I choose not to simply because I won't re-watch anime uesually...)

The quality on Hulu is pretty good even on a DSL connetion. Watching them with the original order is kinda odd, but I like it!

Is it just 11 episodes, or do they show all 14?

In response to fan feedback, Hulu has fixed the episode order! They are now in the order they were intended to be viewed (i.e. as the DVD).

i don't have access. The original introductions of the first 3 episodes - those are not included in the DVDs, right? People keep referring to key bits of info from these intros that I haven't seen. Wish they'd include them as bonus material or something. Anybody know of mpeg or similar vid clips of these intros?

If you watch these you are hurting the writers as they don't get paid a penny/cent for this. A part of the reason for the strike at the moment is because of streaming media like this.

Go here for a more detailed explanation, although it's hard to read on that background, you might want to highlight the text first.

Thx Hardcopy for the post.

My head is spinning. I'm conflicted...

Have you checked out how simple it is to embed this on ANY web page?! I know, that's the whole sinister idea, the easier it is for anyone with a web page to embed the more that viral marketing thing works: more ads for SUVs in more places and the evil empire wins (and writers don't get paid *yet*).

Still... the thought of EVERY Browncoat with a web page having all Firefly eps available for view for every one of their site visitors could be a mighty compelling form of guerilla marketing... the new fans that could be reached...
