Vump! and a nom

I suck at chess. Even with the comp playing at it's easiest level, it still whips my butt!!

Just sitting here, sucking on ice cubes- my fav food in the winter, because they have 0 calories and they're cold, which means your body burns that little bit of fat to keep itself warm. I read somewhere that drinking a glass of ice-cold water helps you to lose 2-3 lbs. a year, so I'm doing that my own way

Christmas Eve manual stats VUMP!

http://richlabonte.net/tvvote

http://www.richlabonte.net/tvvote

http://richlabonte.net/tvvote/index.html

Top two shows as of this morning:

(Statistics in parentheses are previous day's stats, for comparison purposes)

Total votes Firefly: 508,334 (507,465)

Total votes Xena: 438,479 (438,053)

Yesterday, Browncoats voted 869 times (890). Happy Holidays!

Yesterday, Xenites voted 426 times (408).

(Xenites voted 443 (482) times less than Browncoats, yesterday.

Firefly is 69,855 (69,412) votes ahead of Xena, more than the vote total of #35 show The Simpsons, 67,446!

Yesterday, Firefly got more votes than the next two top-ranked shows combined, Xena, 426, and Bonanza, 412, a total of 838!

Firefly also got more votes, yesterday, than the next two top-scoring shows, combined, Xena 426, and, Battlestar Galactica 416, a total of 842!

Yesterday, Browncoat votes fell by 21, 2.36%; Xenite votes rose by 18, 4.41%. Guess they finished their shopping, early!

Firefly has reached half a million votes! What a shiny banner we got! You can still view (as well as download) it at:

http://richlabonte.net/happy/firefly.htm

5,336,474 (5,326,758) votes have been counted as of 12/24/07. Yesterday, 9,716 (9,915) votes were cast. In order to take ownership of 10% of all votes cast yesterday, we needed to vote 972 (992) times, of which we fell short by 103 votes. Our share fell to 9.5256538% (9.5267147%) of all votes ever cast.

Yesterday, our vote percentage fell, again, as did our overall votes; I expect this trend to reverse after the end of the holiday shopping week. Pretty much EVERYBODY'S votes dropped, again, yesterday. Expect more of the same, through Christmas, and, possibly also through the New Year holiday.

-Tallymister Raycheetah =^[.]^=

In other TV Vote news:

Buffy got 403 (434) votes, yesterday. Currently, Buffy is not receiving enough votes to pass #6 show Battlestar Galactica, which received 416 (386) votes, yesterday.

Angel got 346 (386) votes, and, is now set to overtake #11 show Lexx in 6.78 (6.86) days.

Finally, Dark Shadows got 386 (366) votes, and, is now set to overtake #39 show Cleopatra 2525 in 1.98 (3.12) days.

Thanks, again, for your time, and, for your support of these great shows!

P.S.: For those who are interested in Moonlight in the Nominations Poll

http://richlabonte.net/tvvote/index.html

Total votes Moonlight 2,739 (2,652)

Moonlight got 87 (80) votes, yesterday, passing Magnum, p.i. 2,724.

'Twas the night before Christmas and all 'round the ship,
Not an Alliance patrol was stirring, we'd given them the slip.
Certain cargo was hidden beneath the stairway with care,
In the hopes that the passengers wouldn't look there.

The crew were nestled all snug in their bunks,
while visions of 'real' food was mostly what they thunk,
Inara in her kerchief, and Jayne in his hat,
had just settled down for a long en-route nap.

When up on the bridge there arose such a clatter,
I sprang from my bunk to see what was the matter.

Away to the scanners I flew like a flash,
Swiped away all the dinosaurs and spilled some tea with a splash.

The glow of the engines that Kaylee loved so,
gave the lustre of mid-day to the object below.

When what to my wondering eyes should a appear,
But a miniature transport with room for eight prisoners in the rear.

With a little old captain so lively and squirrely
I knew in a moment it must be J. Early.
More rapid than full burn his transport it came,
And he whistled, and mumbled, and called us by name:
"Now River, now Simon, now Jayne and Kaylee,
On Book, and Inara and Wash and Zoe!"

?? More to follow??
